Weapon Critical/Spell Critical

So I was wondering what is the best way to improve both of these stats ? should I just try to increase one or try to increase both.

Any help would be appreciated

Generally it's better to focus on just one type of damage, weapon or spell. Then boost the critical of these as well.

Hybrid builds (those that sue both types of damage) don't really reach high levels of power in end game content. Best ways to get the ones up you want however is via the passives in the Mage champion point tree and some skills which help such as Mage Light (for spell crit) and finally armour sets which buff these values.

Try to increase one. To have any hope/prayer of doing any damage you're going to focus on either Magicka or Stamina and accordingly spell crit or weapon crit respectively.

Mage Light and its morphs will increase both values by 10% and the thief mundus will raise both values by 11% (buffable with the divines trait on gear), but outside these two cases you can, and should only want to, raise one value in particular over the other.

You might be also interested in investing skill points in one of the passives from the light armor skill line which is called 'Prodigy'. It increases your spell critical as well. If you're a sorc, within the dark magic passives you can find Exploitation which also affects spell crtis. Spell critical potions (you can buy them in the guild kiosks) are also very helpful.

Think I am going to stick with increasing just one stat then, will have a play around with my gear and CP today and see what I can come up with!
