Black Spiral Dancers (BSD) is a PS4, North America, Ebonheart Pact guild based on one thing: family. We are NOT the following:

1) A trading guild. We have no trader currently and no plans of having one. We do have a business co-leader, and assistants, who coordinate trade for us using a variety of multimedia. This works well for our needs and prevents the costs of maintaining a trader, wasting millions of gold to keep one every week (in prime locations).

2) We are not a PvP guild. However, we do enjoy excursions into Cyrodiil from time to time.

3) We are not a strict raiding guild, but do enjoy completing dungeons and Undaunted dailies.

For all the things we are not, let me explain what we are. BSD is a home. We enjoy sharing resources, crafting gear for each other, helping with dailies, dungeons, and building a sense of community. Due to many of our members being family men/women, we are not bound by restrictive schedules and demands regarding how we play and when.

I continue to support BSD due to the outstanding player base and fantastic attitude everyone has.

Our guild is a family first and we pace ourselves based on IRL needs. If looking for a hardcore guild, this is not your destination. We have players of all experience levels and accept newbies and veterans alike.

Use of guild chat is strongly encouraged in order to be part of the team. We also encourage members to sign-up to (and use) our guild site to stay connected. If you do not intend on being social, don't bother to inquire about an invite. Promotions come through involvement. We would rather invite 1 social and involved member than 100 others who are not. We want quality, not quantity.

Addendum:

As a preemptive response to the inevitable question "Why are you called Black Spiral Dancers?", I will direct people to World of Darkness lore. For those unfamiliar with the game system, the Black Spiral Dancers were a tribe of Garou (werewolves) who fell to corruption and madness. A mountain of lore exists within this game system and is quite fascinating how it has been tied into real life events. Our guild rank system is based on Garou lore.

BSD used to be called Fang Bang back when acquiring vampirism/lycanthropy was almost impossible (or everyone was getting scammed left and right). We were a "free bite" guild and assisted in passing one of these diseases to over 260 players. Times change, however, and having completed our mission, we evolved into a tight-knit family. Those who were there just for the "free bite" went their own ways.

We currently have about 90 members after having dismissed almost 20 people for inactivity that lasted beyond one month. Again, we are only interested in people who plan on being part of the family. Inactive players will be reviewed and removed, pending attempted contact on our part. A simple heads-up to an officer or co-leader can suffice for things like vacations or emergencies. Before removal a member is placed into a "Ronin" rank following two weeks of inactivity and inability to establish contact through PSN. We understand life comes first, but again, a general heads-up will prevent removal from the guild after a period of absence.

I want to stress we are not looking for numbers for bragging rights. We are looking for like-minded people who want a no-nonsense home.

We are ideal for adults with careers, people who want to experience the content but cannot commit to "raid nights", working students, those new players who are lost and need guidance, stay-at-home moms or dads who want a relaxed guild, or anyone not wanting strict commitments from their brothers and sisters.
