Do you think 15gb per month is enough?

Thats NOT including updates i can do updates separately, this is just on my ps4 only?

I'm going to get 4g wifi so i can actually play online games at my uni dorm, the uni internet blocks connecting to online servers but will download the updates.

Theres a 15gb/m plan for £20 or a 25gb/m plan for £30

The 15gb seems like enough, would love some people to tell me how much data you use per hour and does party chat impact this data?

How much data per hour is being in cyrodill (were i spent 90% of my time) and in a party chat (100% of my time...)

Help would be appreciated.

15 should be totally fine. I played on 5 for years with really strong performance.

Also, I'm surprised at UK prices. They are just as bad as Canada....

So you only have a limited capacity ? Like when you use a W-Lan stick ? (which I assume you do in this case)
I pity you actually. Because when I was living on my own for the first time (I spent monday-friday in a different town and could only go home over the weekend)

I only had a trashy W-Lan stick and the capacity was wasted so super fast. I felt so bad and felt so happy when I was at home. But on sunday, I already started being depressive. I stopped this eventually and gave up my job there.

It's a portable mobile wifi hotspot, it's not too bad.

The internet the uni has is about 150mb download speed so it downloaded 25gb in like 10-15 mins... xD

Luckily i'm in a double 4g area so i should get 30-50mb/s speed from it, combined with using uni internet for updates i should be fine.

    Dorms and/or some Apartments are usually built with concrete. I do not know what the UK uses for its building codes over there... However from my own experience in the USA-- Concrete is a enemy to wifi signals. If the option is available to you do this;

    1. Hardwire the pc/console into the router
    2. Stick that router as close to a window as possible where it won't be disturbed

Should be alright with that set up. Heed my warning OP, you do not want to be stuck in a concrete boxed living space with terrible internet.

I mean, if you are paying for your internet in a University dorm, you damn well better get the best you can get. And might as well have a good set up.

It's literally a box like acts like a personal hotspot

Expensive plan. Euro or pound? Did a currency conversion just for interests sake. 25gb for $68. For $30 more per month in my country, I can get unlimited fibre at 1gbps.

There is a Reddit post where they claim they use 20 Meg of data for an hour. That's 50 hours for a Gig You would be fine with a 5Gig Data Plan just for this game.

Now, of course all the Streaming you do, that will put a big dent in your data plan caps. So a 10 to 15 Gig Data Plan should have you covered for all your gaming and video watching needs. Well, maybe not all your video watching needs.

For just playing sure, you can make 3GB last a week or two easily.

But considering ZoS like dropping huge updates, I wouldn't recommend using it for updates as well. You might log in one day and find a 20GB incremental patch for example.

Also considering it's for the PS4 you won't have as much control over what you download vs on a PC so things like other games and apps, console updates etc are all going to add to that usage as PS4's are designed to entertain and not to be efficient with your internet usage.
