Argonian/tribal-themed Roleplaying guild. (Reachmen, Ashlander Dunmer, Tribal Orcs, and Bosmer or any other Race who wants to live with a Tribe of Saxhleel are welcome to join as well!)


History

A tribe decimated by slavers from House Dres, the majority of the Banescale Saxhleel lived in chains in Morrowind for years before the signing of the Ebonheart Pact. Later these ex-slaves and their allies formed an organization known as the Banescale Fellowship. This Fellowship had the goal of uniting the tribal people of eastern Tamriel in order to preserve their traditional ways and lands.

Many new Argonians came to join the Banescale tribe during this time, as well as a handful of wayward dryskins. The Fellowship itself ceased to exist as an organization with the betrayal of their spiritual leader and one of the last living original Banescales: Utek-Ja. Though their goals of tribal unity across Tamriel have been set aside due to this mysterious and tragic event, the people who now call themselves Banescale have not given up on one another, or their new home in Black Marsh.

The Banescale Tribe is a simple family living out a traditional Saxhleel lifestyle in Shadowfen.

The Banescale Fellowship is interested in all aspects of gameplay but we are first and foremost a heavy RP guild. We strive to provide intriguing, ongoing plots and offer plenty of chances for community involvement. Progressing our storyline (and all the RP relating to it) is the primary focus of the guild.

OOC, the Fellowship works to serve as a pillar of the RP community but also just a fun group to play with. We want to be open, inviting and ready to RP with anyone we encounter.

The Feast of Fortune is coming up on December 19th! This is a great time to get in and RP with us! We'll be preparing for a great Land Stride up to the Northern lands of Skyrim! To prepare for this journey, the Banescale tribe will hold a feast and celebration in order to placate the spirits of the Marsh, and bring good fortune to those who stay, and those who go.

The horns rang out, as the celebrants welcomed the Monsoon season. Chases-Comets had been stuffing her face full of crocodile haunch and listening to the stories being told in the drum circle. The giant Shellback didn't even realize horns had been given out. She sighed, having missed the opportunity to welcome the Monsoons with a good foonting.

She had liked the celebration. She thought the stories were great, the food was delicious, and the music was soothing. Everything was as it should be for such an occasion! Soon, Chases-Comets was joined at the food table by the Desert-Walker Selique. She was the Captain who lived in Alten Corimont.

"What a party you Argonians have here! Music! Food! Horns! I'm glad I wasn't out to sea for this one!" The Redgaurd clapped the Shellback on the hip, being to short to reach her shoulder. Chases-Comets chuckled at the small Captain. She and the Redgaurd then exchanged small talk, and ate crocodile as they listened to the music and festivities continue on. Chases-Comets thought the swamp spirits would certainly be appeased, and the Banescale would be granted much good fortune on their Land Stride to the Northern Lands. It was going to be a good Monsoon season, she could feel it.
