Problems loading the Launcher

I recently bought a new PC and when I try to launch ESO from the default Desktop Icon the launch takes a really long time to load. Once it does load it gives me a prompt to Repair so I tried clicking that but it failed to repair. My workaround is to launch ESO directly from the exe and skip the launch interface which works fine and the game loads normally. My issue is that when it comes time to download a new patch the launcher will still be broken.
