World Boss Daily

I have sat waiting at Mad Urkazbur off and on for hours since yesterday. I can not complete my daily because I must be the only person with this quest for the last 12 hours. I can solo him on a couple of my characters but not this one. These world boss quests suck for this reason.

Ive proposed Request System, introduce special item to make requests, when request is put on, it shows on everybody's UI, those who help get reward, and the request last as long its completed. This is the only way I see ESO can tackle this massive tons-of-content-and-too-little-player problem what we have.

Request system should work for all kind of content...
- Low level dolmens, world bosses, public dungeons
- Dungeons and Vet Dungeons
- Craglorn quests.
- IC's bosses, dailies.
- Cyrodil's dolmens, gank squads and full siege raids
- Trials.
- DSA.
- Orsinium Dailies.

Lets face it, if that list is going to keep expanding we are in world of pain in the future, well we are already.

Some periods (like very late at night) are slow, but at other times if you ask in zone and say you can share the quest, you can usually get a group up relatively easily.

I've had that issue waiting around, but the normal wait for me has been around 10 mins tops. However, a few times the wait was just to long so I decided lets just do the boss with the other person that was there waiting. We did complete it with 2 people and I had hopes the rewards would be just a little bit more with a smaller group, but that was not the case. Either way I normally do not have a hard time getting a few people together for the boss fights. Just because someone already did that boss for the day doesn't mean they wont come and help so maybe also mention that in zone... even if you've already completed it would you mind helping us? I normally do if I am in the area.

If the op plays on console, zone chat is non-existant

This is the main reason console players have been requesting a chat box.

On PC it's pretty easy to get help. We have a fairly helpful player base that will go aid someone if they can read that someone need help. Proximity voice chat is... brilliant? As matter of fact it is so good, that I turn it off.

Yeah I'm on XB1 and do not have much luck with area chat.

Exactly... Proximity voice chat enables you to talk with people within about 20 meters. The problem with this is that zones are a couple of km wide

Hmm.
Have you tried hanging out at the Hostel where the quest pickup is? People might be putting together the groups there.

Never have been able to figure out what ZOS was thinking not giving you guys the ability to communicate in a zone.

This is what I do. I stand around the pub where the quest giver is and I spam in voice chat (probably sounding like Ferris Bueller's teacher); Wrothgar dailies, anyone want to share? Anyone? Anyone?

The dailies are just hard to get done on console period. Only times you'll get it is between 7-9am and again after 6 when thr numbers pick up again but most of the time before 8ish as most of the groups will have done it. Camp thr boss between these times and most likely you'll get it done in 20 mins of waiting. Painful to get done.

Maybe it is hardware limitations I frequently have in game chat problems. From not being able to switch from area to group, chat randomly switching, getting stuck in a constant join loop, etc.

I tried sharing a quest with a friend when the dlc first dropped and it didn't work. So we thought you couldn't. We just tried again and it worked so maybe it was due to them already completing one or something.

I just wish the containers were stackable...I have like 100 of them..

There are 2 types of dailies in Wrothgar: boss dailies and delve dailies. Only boss dailies can be shared.

Same here. The join loops you mentioned happen all the time and make it impossible to communicate. It happened to me again tonight and tried logging out then back in again, but it didn't work. I eventually gave up and just sent a psn message to the group leader that I wouldn't be able to talk

The join loop is a packet loss issue. Get it now and then. Painful.
