Are queues just long in this game?

It took my DPS several hours just to get into a dungeon using the party finder. I've rerolled to healer and queues still seem fairly long...not hours long, but still takes like 20-30 mins just to find a group. Not to mention every group I've joined with the party finder on my healer so far is either missing a member or some other bullcrap like having to tank.

I've been really disappointed with the grouping in this game so far.

Are you in any guilds? A lot of people make groups from guilds in this game.

The main problem is that the group finder was bugged for a very long time, so people learned that they should try to form groups without using it.
Now that the group finder works better, many people still don't use it to form groups, because it's hard to give up routines that you've used for aver 1.5 years. But with more new players using it and old players learning that the group finder can be usefull aswell, that should change in the future.

You probably had bad timing for the dungeon you wished to group for and/or some bad luck lol
