✭Ive played ESO longest than any other MMO, and let me say Ive played a ton of them (My last record was Rift, 15 month subbed and I played Planetside 1 about a year.) I suppose that tells something and I dont plan leaving, Thief and Dark Brotherhood DLC's sounds awesome. Also if housing is something cool like Castles with some multiple upgrade/extension possibilities, I might stay even longer, but if its some simple cottage that aint gonna do it for me. ✭I quite like ESO, I'm enjoying it more than I did Skyrim, Oblivion or Morrowind.

But if I go by first impressions (which made the biggest impact and shaped what I like), I would have to go for Unreal Tournament.
I still judge games by the feeling I got when I first played that game.
Absolute funnest game of all time by me would have to be Blood by Monolith. Such evil humor

Stikato✭✭✭✭✭UO, EQ, and DAOC all had their moments in those first 6 years I played MMOs where I was so deeply hooked, and just in sheer awe of the game itself.
Eve online came close for awhile.
Single player? Xcom and Civ stand out. Morrowind was my favorite RPG.
ESO is like the "best of the rest"; there were some times in early Cyrodiil that stand out, but the overall lack of risk/consequences in the rest of the world makes PvE forgettable IMO. No housing, no epic mobs to camp for rare drops, there just nothing in PvE but easy treadmills for the most part.Mordimus - Stam Sorc2 -

✭✭✭✭✭In its day, EQ probably had the biggest impact on me because it was so different to everything that had gone before since I started gaming in 1983.
However, for me ESO stands head and shoulders above any other modern game at the moment, although I am enjoying Fallout 4 very much. I have been playing ESO as my main MMO since PC launch and it has run flawlessly all the time as well as providing a huge amount of entertainment, although I have no interest in the PvP side of things.3 -

I think it has the potential to be my favourite game of all time, after hearing what's coming for ESO. If I had a version of ESO now that included all that's been announced (and confirmed to be in the making) such as Housing, Spellcrafting, PvP Arenas/Battlegrounds, Murkmire, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, barber shop, Gold Coast, Clockwork City, Mephala's Realm, etc. then it would be close to becoming my favourite game of all time.
But then again... This will all probably be in the game by Q4 2017 at the earliest.UESP Staffer & Wiki Editor2 -

Exactly my thoughts! It didn't grab me as much as I thought it would the first time around. The second time around I'm enjoying it much more. If it continues to grow in content like I think it will, my stay will be a long one. I'm in agreement with others that it is one of the better games out there on the market right now.
I do have to say that the F2P transition was a great move. That drew me back and after playing it for a bit, I decided to sub.2 -

It's true that there are aspects I would like to change, yet that statement may be said for every Alternate Universe(game) have ever experienced.
Dragon age was a watered down version that was a time filler before this was attainable.
Mass effect is my gun universe.
And star wars is my harnessing ones inner RA/Chi/Qi/Spirit/Mana Universe.
