Leveling

So, I read allot of threads that say that leveling is really slow after Veteran Rank 1.
I'm not seeing it... I gave maybe 1-2 Veteran Ranks in just a 4-6 hour game session. If anything, leveling is too fast. I'm on my way to VR 16ing another character as we speak.
