redguard armor censored

why was the redguard light armor redone, the tops look like horrible tee's from old navy. im a girl and I didn't find the older designs offensive. I was loving the Arabian nights look a lot and I hope they redo them or change them back I know a lot of people would love that.

I like the new looks for a more "armor-ish" appereance...
But...
...I also would love to see the old look reappear as civilian clothing for roleplay purposes.

Of course, I would love to see a great many more roleplay-support looks appear in the game, either as civilian clothing or as costume...

I'd be fine if they changed them back to the old style, might as well also touch up the rest of the armor styles in the game to be of similar quality while they're at it. As long as orc heavy armor doesn't have that silly boob-window on it that it used to have. Cleavage on metal armor is just weird, at least light armor has an excuse for being LIGHT ARMOR.

Am I the only one who wants ZOS to update and clean up heavy nord armor. The gauntlets look like robot hands for Kynes sake.

And high level redguard robe wasnt skimpy or something... But still it was changed to that ugly leather tabard thingy. Seriously, layered silk robe makes much more sense than t-shirt with leather dress. Who in their right mind would wear something like this in Alik'r desert? Looks really uncomfortable and wearing it will likely cause heat stroke.

in a desert you are supposed to cover up your skin and wear stuff that breathes well so heck yeah she would get heatstroke because the hat isn't covering enough and the clothes are just...not appropriate.

They should update most of the different races armours, we have seen that it is possible for chest armour to look like a 3d item instead of just some painted model on our character's body (mercenary armour), and that it is possible to see our character's eyes when they are wearing heavy armour helms (heavy nord helm) instead of just looking like a robot (imperial, bretón, etc).

A really cool feature would be to add an aditional tab to change our gear's appereance, because there are some great armour design's in game that are not worth using or just belong to low level armours.

This appereance system could be tied to crafting, requiring to have the ability to craft items of the same level as the one you want to change the appereance of, as well as using the same amount of mats needed to craft a new item of that level. It should also be limited to the same armour type as the original item.

Well, I'm sure someone else could think of something better, my english is not very good and this bloody phone won't stop changing all these words to spanish.

Give freedom to us fashion ***.

I think video games go one way or another.

Such as Terra online? Whatever it was called basically meant the best armor in the game was nearly but naked, literially showing off Butts and boobs.

Or they go full cover up.

I think a balance is better, female armor in some games has the right mix of sexy/effective. I don't think sleezy is the way to go, but I would like there to be an actual difference between male and female.

This. Right now ZOS have the wallpaper on the main page with the Breton heavy armor, and we can't even see the eyes of the character. What's wrong with you, ZOS?

Oooh that breton heavy armor. I dont even know where to start.
In my opinion, its the most cringeworthy armor set, because it loosely based on historical armor, but in fact its not more practical than a chainmail bikini.

First of, the helmet. Almost all vet armor helmets are ridiculously bulky and oversized, especially on female characters. Just imagine how heavy that thing would be. Non-vet version is not that huge, but for some reason it leaves character's neck exposed, which kinda defeats the point of wearing full plate armor. One lucky arrow, and this char will be dead.
Secondly, boob plate cuirass. Questionable choice at best, simply because a cuirass is meant to deflect blows, and corset-shaped armor might be really dangerous for its wearer. Here's why.
Last, but not least, this bulky iron loincloth/apron thingy. I can understand hip flaps on armor, they mostly look awkward, but at least they're loosely based on real armor parts.
But that steel slab between character's legs would make running or riding very uncomfortable. Not to mention how heavy it would be... And most importantly, it doesnt serve any real purpose.

Actually some of the censoring is just tactless shading that I find ridiculous. I enjoyed some of the revealing parts of the design especially when compared to NPC races skin tone.

Honest to god the whole sets they censored actually need to be freaking redesigned because the current changes are just cheap and lazy.

I would understand if females were wearing nothing but bikini thongs... but before this wasn't the case.

Heavy armour should cover everything but medium and light should differ, imo. I don't want boobs hanging out but I doubt redguard light armour would be so...covery. It's too hot for it.

I'm basing this opinion on the fact I'm female and what I could stand to wear in the desert whilst at war.

Note: I feel very ill today so expect words like "covery".

well IMO, its a virtual desert I don't care if my character gets heat stroke or if its practical lol ahhaha.

would I stroll threw the blazing hot desert fighting a giant sand scorpion in a bikini chain plate armor.....um no, but would I send my redguard DK in there....most certainly yes.

my point, its a game and I just want a awesome costumes/armor for my female characters that I don't always have to buy, plus just give me back my Arabian nights belly dancer light armor ahahah that is all.

Yeah its fantasy but that doesnt mean that devs shoudnt care about plausibility or at least good looks.

I know this may sound ridiculous,but,I change my armor/clothing with the weather. When it rains,I add a hood that I made and improved to purple.When it snows,I use a Snowborn outfit,with all that fur. For the desert,I too,would love the old outfits back. I dont care if some people say you cover up everything in the heat.I live in the absolute hottest place in America(heat up to 122 degrees) and we dont do that.
