I moved out to uni a few months back and unfortunately the online gaming here is blocked :'( .

I'm thinking of getting a dongle and purely using it to play online games on my ps4, such as battle front and such, i won't be downloading updates because the uni internet is very fast and i can use that to download i just can't join any online sessions on it.

Just curious how much data per hour will eso take and will it be possible for me to play online games with it?

I'm guessing solo questing/ cyrodiil will take different amounts anyone know?

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    It really depends on what you're doing, if it's casual roaming and not much zone changing - 150mb a day from what I've seen, can be around 250 with loads of areas. PvP? 100mb+/hour. Dungeons take a fair bit too.

    Have you looked into a VPN? Might help somewhat, never used or looked into them much.

    Ty both, looking around i can get a 4g+ mifi here which is about 30-50mbs speed which is more than enough, it has a 25gb per month limit which as i'm using it for pure gaming it should be fine.

    25GB a month maybe just too little,
    if you could get 30Gb a month you should be fine,

    Except for updates then you will need more..

    If updates are indeed blocked by the network as well and not just the gaming ports.

    Nah the updates still work.

    It's a 150mb+ download on speedtest, so the 25gb update took about 15 mins :)
