What sets do you recommend for Templar end game healing?

Everyone seems so obsessed with the molag kena piece, I prefer losing some spell damage and armor to get the maw of the infernal set for the extra utility of a daedroth that constantly procs. I lost count of the times that thing has tanked a boss for me during a crappy PUG where the tank lost aggro or died in one shot. Of course in pvp it's useless but still fun to use and surprises people sometimes because they don't know where it came from >:)

Has anyone managed to get a full set of v16 trinimac or v16 winterborn yet? Those 5 piece procs sound very fun to use.

Best healing set without question is.. and fairly easy to get

    4 trinimac
    5 seducer
    3 magnus

Just put your BoL on macro and spam non stop.

At the moment as a end game healer I use the following set's:

    5 Spell power cure
    3 Willpower
    1 Molag kena
    2 Torug's pact

For me it only took about 20 to 30 WGT runs to get the 5 piece spell power cure.

If you want to use crafted gear for great results you can always combo 5 seducer with 3-4 magnus. I have that setup and 3 Will power Jewelry.

IMO nothing beats Shroud of the Lich for sustained healing. I can run through an entire trial with this set up without ever having to stop spamming BoL, Healing Springs and Mutagen as long as I time my proc and potions correctly. Good luck farming it though, takes forever...

5 Piece Shroud of the Lich
    3 Piece Willpower
    3 Piece Arch-Mage

Should be an issue anyway nowdays imo.

I run 5x krag, 4x magnus 3x willpower with 2 regen enchants and can spam BoL all day. About 150 ish regen + channeled focus.

i don't understand the fetish some healers have with regen. if your heals are small, it wont matter that you can cast them 100 times in a row if people die after the first cast. most things in PvE don't last longer than a minute anyways, so as long as you have a ton of mana, like 35k+, it does not matter that you can cast it that many times.

i run with around 950 mana regen, with krags, 2 rings of endurance(spell damage enchants and mana traits) for the health, a necklace of spell power with spell damage and mana and then a willpower resto staff and then on off bar S/B of willpower. and bodgans for more health and the neat proc chance for more heals. the laves me with 36k mana and the resto and 38k on the S/B/ with around 2.2k spell damage. and 22k health. now i have 50% crit on the resto and can hit 20k BoL without standing in purifying ritual. my mutagen crits for 3k. i use inner light, BoL, repentance, mutagen, and for more mana regen more than anything, syphon spirit on bosses. off bar is S/B with inner light, mystic orb, radiant glory, purifying light and blazing spear. ults are barrier and meteor. only 300 cps too.

5 Habit of the Healer: 3 Jewelry, 2 Sash and another armor. 1 Molag Kena either slot. 5 Seducer. Put 1 spell power and 2 magicka cost reduction on the jewelry. Of the Lich 5 piece is also good if you can afford or find it instead of seducer. Kagrenac's Hope is fair if you need to resurrect more than you heal.

I'm not obsessed with spell regen, I have around 3400 spell power buffed, and 40k magicka, my BoL heals heals for 16k in cyro for crit heals with purifying up. And 30k in pve. So don't really see the issue?

The other reason regen is good is as a healer you should be doing dps too, I keep blazing spears up 100% of the time, and weave dark flares too (illuminate passive helps the team) then use radiant destruction during execute phase.

My dark flares crit for about 38k empowered, so it's a good dps buff, makes the fights go even quicker.

1.It only comes in max V12 with incredibly bad chance for getting rings. This means you will take a very major stat penalty at VR16. There are much better crafted options..
2.it does not have have any spell power which means your heals will be not very strong.
    3. the 5 piece bonus is pretty crappy this days.

The VR1/12 version is however pretty solid for leveling as a magicka build to Vr16. I used my rings on all my characters until V16.

Hey Guys, just reading this thread and found some good information.

What Mundus Stone would be advised for these sets?

The spell power Mundus? The Atronach one? The Mage?

We are obsessed with regen because we remember the days when veteran dungeons and end-game content actually challenged us so that we couldn't spend 80% of our time DPSing and some fights lasted 10+ minutes.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

I dunno...I'm quite fond of mag regen in PvP and even in PvE dungeons if I know I'm not gonna run with my core group.

And I still have 2k spell damage unbuffed + 1.6/1.8 mag regen unbuffed. I have a backup Willpower arcane neck enchanted with spell power if I feel I need a tad more damage.
I just don't think I could sustain (as heals) in big keep battles with 950 mag regen but that's just me. :)

I might try higher spell power but for now I find this to be a sweet-spot, especially with how chaotic my play-time can be - jump from gold pledge to Chal re-take with 5 trillion oils pouring down on everyone's faces and sharknadoes flying left and right.

congratulations on choosing a non-Argonian to heal with and having more CPs than me. i also keep spears up, along with the Purifying light, as it is instant cast and heals more, also because as you said "illuminate passive helps the team", i also keep mystic orbs rolling out and syphon spirit up on the bosses, for the mana users on the team.

i am jealous of you guys, the ones that have been here since the soft caps, they sound so much better than what we have now.

so really the general consensus on the endgame healer set is kagrenac's hope(unless you got spellpower cure) and willpower and Torugs, Kena if you got it. maybe 4 piece Magnus if you think you need more regen on your staff bar.

The best setup imo is 4x magnus 5x kragneracs

Actually the best is 3x magnus 1x kena 5x krag, as usually I dw on my main bar when switching to a staff I keep the spell power buff constantly.

    I'm running:

    5pc Shroud of the Lich
4/5pc Julianos (dual swords on my other bar give me the full 5pc bonus when I switch)
3 willpower arcane (1 cost reduction and 2 spell damage)

    Buffed stats:
I have 38k magic with vet 15 food
26k health with Cyrodiil buffs (21k otherwise)
    3,560 regen
3,000 spell damage (will be even higher when I switch all jewelry to spell damage when I get more CP...then I will be at about 3.2k).

I am a healer that has received the no death achievement for all applicable dungeons and routinely does both PVE and PVP.
