New merchants coming in pvp cyro on rotation a few days a week will have dungeon rewards like engine guardian and other BOP for large amounts of AP or GOLD.....livestream confirmed..

PRO - Can skip RNG finally!!!
CON - Less people running dungeons now? Dungeon rewards and BOP Dungeon drops no longer exclusive to dungeons/trials?

    It has be confirmed 2 days out of the week a merchant will show up and sell the gear.

    I am so happy now, for me this is the best thing to happen in ESO for a LLOONNNGGGG time. Some people love to PvE, some love to mix PvE with PvP and some players love to only play PvP. This will give PvP'rs like myself a way to get PvE content that I would otherwise never of had a chance to get.

    ZOS has always used the motto "play the game as you want" and this now let's that be true. The only thing I would say (even though I personally hate PvE) is that if they're doing this, then it should be made the other way around to and let pve'rs have a way to obtain PvP sets in PvE maybe like the merchant.

    I have no problem with this in principle, even if a merchant was there 24/7 that sold all monster sets for AP for example. However @ZOS_BrianWheeler alluded to the fact that they may be tradeable which would be insane. Letting people buy them for AP and sell for gold whilst PvE players still have zero way of making money from dropped gear?

    Maybe look at making gear dropped in PvE BoE except for very rare things like Master/Maelstrom weapons so PvE players can make some gold?

    Or better yet, add a token system so RNG is eliminated and we can just work for the items.

    Good point actually they need to address the AP exploiting guilds for leaderboards...

    i'm a PvE player of heart and i do agree with this. there is no need for people to do content they don't like to be viable in the content they do like, afterall you play the game for fun. If not i would suggest doing something else.
