I don't have control of what the group does without me there. Good to see DC can poplock a 2nd server, though.
This is precisely what our group did as wellHad some fun on TF (which is currently my guest campaign) last night, until we AD found ourselves outnumbered by at least 3 to 1. Our group called it a night at that point.
Had a challenging but fun time on TF yesterday evening going against K-Hole and GoS. We were a little outmanned early (like in that crazy alessia bridge fight) but once we got to 12-16 people (we topped out at 21) we definitely held our own and had success.

Right now you've got Slywolf and the rest of SWP PvDooring the AD trikeeps to take their scrolls.
Just don't kill him with overload unless you want to be accused of and reported for "Macroing". Clearly macroing increases the rate at which I can left-click people to death. I mean with all that animation cancelling and such you can do with it....

My guild was in TF until about 830-9 EST last night and it was phenomenal small group combat. Hope this trend keeps up!

I do wish people wouldn't troll with the scroll, though. Not classy to take a scroll to the small island in the water and just stand there. Either run it, or leave it be. That's the time when I logged off for the night. Our group was already breaking up because of the aforementioned numbers issue, but I was willing to run with the scroll and see if we might be able to get it back to our Temple - only to find the group that grabbed it intended to troll with it.

I swear man, a full one quarter of my deaths yesterday evening were by your hands in particular. Still, great fun nonetheless

Not as rare as the once common spotted magicka DK though!

Trueflame only bumps during primetime, but that works for now. There's always a point in the night when you look at the map and notice everyone's gone, but by then Azura's is playable, so you go over there if you want to keep going.
The fights on TF are good because the people who home here want to be here, and they don't give up immediately. Guests and assist groups do give up immediately, so people know that any one-sidedness is gonna be a temporary thing. Zergs come through to crown and then leave; they don't have any other zergs to fight.
A little bit more of everyone would be great, and a lot more of anyone would be bad. Most nights you have to PvDoor your home keeps back to get a foundation in place, and I get the sense it's like that for everyone, just trading off pro underdog status. More people, at more hours, would fix that. We need another red group, followed by another yellow group, and if blue feels completely overwhelmed at that point I like the idea of VE being available to queue in. Where Azura's would be at that point, I dunno.
Closing Notions: I think TF is actually a terrific place for mid-level players and new groups. Every alliance at almost every time could benefit from someone hitting or defending something that they aren't already, and small groups can do really good work. It's also an environment where decent players have a chance to turn good and then possibly great; I think new players getting better at PvP and having more fun in PvP is the most critical thing for the playerbase atm behind the devs fixing performance. The population on TF can be very unpredictable, super in flux, so you have to play it real smart and be prepared to be suddenly outgunned. Pretty much every fight gives you something to learn from.
I'll leave you with a video of my guild, Fantasia 2000, that Aeryj recorded a couple days back. We've gotten up to a consistent crew of 8-12 people (coordination / wife swapping / invite sharing with Relentless Order, who run on TF the nights when we don't, has been crucial here), but that's only after spending an eternity running in groups of 3-5. First clip is small man bomb squad mode, second clip is 8vRaid. I play the crown.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slv7ijabpWg
Josh, sorry, I have to dislike the video:/ You missed one key component in the video... I didn't hear "MY VEIL!" Dude, I watched the raw footage of the 10 man farm we had in 1.6 on the EP zerg and when we went around the corner and bombed them you yelled so loud it was just hysterical lmao xD Definitely, will include it in the next video. haha
