Returning Nord magicka DK

I left when IC appeared. Now Im gonna return and play Orsinium at least.

I had 5 martial and 2 Torug. Destro/resto for pvr and destro/s&n for pvp.

I will go now with 5 julianos.
My question is...are there many changes since august or is all the same more or less regarding a mag dk dps build?

Cp still having to be the same? I mean,do I have to just update armor and thats all?

I know Nords are maybe the worst race here in eso anyway...but what to do.

Was just joking since Sorc and Nb is easy mode atm.
For Pve dps nothing much has changed keep your buffs and dot up and whip whip whip
For PvP though you cant really block anymore since you dont regenerate stamina while holding block which hit magicka DKs pretty hard and the 50% heal reduction made Dragonblood pretty useless so you need other sources of heal most magicka DKs use a resto staff for that

For that Magicka Nb I guess nothing much has changed besides new sets and a more reliable cloak

For sets Julianos is good or Twiceborn star with shadow and thief mundus stone. Its pretty much the same dps. Valkyn Scoria is not that good anymore but Nerien Eth got buffed alot and Molag kena from vWGT is pretty good for both magicka DK and NB

Nah, I don't think anything has changed with Mag DK, so they're still pretty sad. But if you're doing Orsinium (PVE) you should be totally fine.
I use 5 julianos and 4 magnus on my DK. The 3rd and 4th piece coming from S+B. If you want even more magicka sustain you can look at a 5pc Kagrenac's

I rerolled my dk from stam to mag and then I found is not that good this dk mag. Should I reroll to stam again? O_o

DK is still strong in pve land, but for pvp you're gonna wanna reroll to stam unfortunately

Stam DK is definitely in a better place for PvP

I use pretty much the same build with TBS instead of Morkuldin which is a matter of taste imo and some different abilites.
He doesnt use heroic slash I definitely recommend it since its really useful for your build in PvP (good damage, 60%slow, ult regen and 15%damage reduction) Ive made really good experience with that ability but your main dps ability remains pierce armor/ransack since its way cheaper and gives you armor penetraton

for Pve I dont know a lot about stamdks (mine is main PvP) but its basically just spam steeltornado in aoe and wrecking blow in single target situations

So then it seems now that stam is playable? I mean, It was a *** before. That's why I rerolled to magicka...Is stam for pve good now? Cause this DK I will use mainly for pve...That build up there says pve/pvp....

You can use it for both pve and pvp but for pve id use hundings rage or like me twiceborn star instead because the 5th piece of mordulkin cant be buffed by your stats so it will be less effective in pve

I will continnue magicka...for pve still being better I see. Dont wanna play pvp now...I see the same problems still appearing and for that I will continue my v12 nb.

Hm definitely 3 v16 arcane willpower with gold spelldamage enchants if you can afford them. Else with health.
Plus 1 or 2 molag kena depending on what you have and 2 torugs pact or malestorm fire staff
You can also use nerien eth 2x if you dont have molag kena or find the 33% cost increase too much too handle because you'll need a lot of magicka support from your healer.

An arcane willpower ring is still roughly around 100k so if you dont have the money get a healthy one because arcane necklace is pretty cheap and you will want at least 2 arcane jewelry pieces to not have too much health and low magicka
