Fox Mounts?

Greetings!

I've been keeping a eye on ESO for awhile now. I bought the game a few months back but been bouncing around different games with my girlfriend and I keep sending her the links for the new DLC's and such. Been trying to get her and a friend to give this a try, she LOVES foxes. Does ESO have any sort of foxes in it?

There is a pet fox you can have follow you around but not a mount.

Foxes do not occur naturally at a size where you could ride them. I hope they never do or bin collection day round where I live could become very, very dangerous ....

I live in the country in Australia and foxes are evil. They killed half our chickens a year or two ago...

Foxes will only ever be pets in ESO, due to their small size.
The closest I can imagine us coming is a wolf mount - but, so far, that's just a dream

fox is a small animal , how do you want to make a mount out of it ? a huge fox breed ? no

Maybe a bosmer could ride one, but yeah I think any other race would crush them into the earth. No thanks.

And one I dream of every now and then... I soo want a pitch black dire wolf for my main to ride...

But yeah, foxes are too small to be ridable by any tamriel race. Not even the bosmer can do much more with it then make a dinner, as they aren't even large enough to be enemies, but remain "one-shot-kills" for hunting...
You can have one as pet to follow you around, roleplay as your familiar if going for a magical character, etc., but that's it for the foxyness in ESO, the odd quest involving a fox spirit aside...

Foxes are great. But I don't think there is any fox that is big enough to be used as a mount. There's already one fox pet, but there are more fox types in-game than just that one, so I'm hoping for some new fox pets in the future.

What this guy in fact I have one her name is Silica and yea she is named after the girl from SAO.

You can have a fenic fox as a pet and it will follow you around and be all cute but yo can not "mount" it nor will it do any barrel rolls.

Why not? It would be easy since ZOS abandoned their plans to make mounts have unique abilities and just made everything a re-skin.

I would like a giant sandworm mount while you are at it ZOS.

Too late, sadly.
The Lilmothiit (aka, tamriel fox people) kinda became extinct a while before the time of ESO... the last ones died off during the knahaten flu a few decades before the time of ESO. Remember that imperial prison in Shadowfen? That's built on the spot of their major settlement...

Hmmm... I now wonder if maybe there could be were-foxes though... I mean, we know there supposedly are were-bears and were-boars in TES lore, and there might be more...

ill take a fox pet like red fox or snow fox or a large nine tailed fox pet, but I don't think I want it as a mount. I definitely want a dire wolf mount though.
