Horse Purchasing Issue

For some reason I cannot purchase a horse. I have over 10,000 gold. I am level 20. When I go to a stable for purchasing the basic horse for 10,000 it will not allow me to press X to confirm purchase. Rather its greyed out. But the option to purchase is there. Anyone else can chime in on this reason for happening?

I purchased a horse on my other profile which is level 25. Can it be because I am in a group with friends and cannot purchase it while in a group?

Thank you

By 'profile' do you mean character?

When purchasing a horse, it goes into your collections, allowing any character on that account to use it.

So if you're using a character on the same account, trying to purchase the same type of horse, it wont work. But good news is you can use that horse on any character anyway. :p

    Hope this helps!

Yes I meant my character. (Which I have 2 now) I didnt know you can use it for each character. Thats a good thing to know.
I will try it out asap and update you.

    Thank you for helping out.

The horse is used account wide, but the training is per character. Each of your characters will have to train the mount separately.

Once upon a time, each character had to buy their own horse. But they changed that when the crown store came, so now one purchase unlocks that mount for all characters, you just have to set it active in the collections-mounts.

And yeah, all training is per character and not per mount anymore either, so you can switch to a metter (looking) mount later on without having to train it up again first, all the better to tempt you with those nifty crown store mounts... ;)
