radiant destruction nerfed?

there is another thread in the general board, but I felt it should be here too. My damages with the skill went way down, it was around 12k and its now around 7k. Nothing in the patchnotes. What's up with that? Is it another ui bug, is the nerf real, any pc player could give us the numbers?

    Thought it was a while ago. Maybe a month? But yeah, it's been nerfed a few times and kinda sucks.

    He's talking about the most recent patch. RD is now showing significantly lower tool tips than before and there is nothing about it in the patch notes.

    Yeah mines was 14k now it's 8k....they definitely did something

    apparently we werent fully hit by Orsinium, that's why we took this now. I didn't play too much yesterday but the only times I was in good spot to use RD I felt the damage was about the same as before. Again I'm on ps4 so I can't be sure of the damage I'm doing.

    i have all classes except DK and i do agree. Templar is like a Hardcore mod in ESO.

    Something with its scaling is wrong atm, they said they look into it some years ago xD

    Every single Templar ability is bugged somehow so it fits the concept now, if u find any working templar abilities that are strong please report them to zeni to fix that and make it bugged aswell.

    I think they changed the tooltip to show the damage it does each tick instead of the total dmg it does which is what it used to show. Some testing to verify will be needed.

    My tool tip is 8k, each tick on a full health enemy is at 2k atm.

    Oh and it doesn't always crit on the first hit anymore..

    "Made an adjustment to class balance, templars have been removed from the game, all current templars will lose everything on their characters, and have to start from scratch with 0 cp, added 20% to hardened ward scaling, increased the damage of suprise attack by 50% and wrecking blow by 100%, finally ambush now stuns for 3 seconds, every hit and does not give cc immunity even when broken"

    This whole topic just makes me sad. I bug reported problems with Templar in Beta ---> No fix. I bug reported Templar on early release --> No fix. I suggested improvements to the class all along --> Only nerfs. For a very long time I believe we had something like 3-4 passives that were either broken or partially broken, and definitely incorrect. On top of those passives we actually had passives that negatively effected the power of our abilities.

    I really want to like Templar but I'm finding myself moving away from the class simply because they've got Healer tunnel vision with this class, and its really unfortunate. It is like they only want us to build around Restoring Light, and nothing else, not even weapon skill lines. I'm at the point where I feel the whole class needs revision from the ground up. All that being said I'm really hopeful/optimistic that their recent review of suggestions might help us. I want Templar Tank to be a thing again, and I want them to deal with a lot of the obvious clunkiness of the class, and the ill conceived passives. I have to admit I'm a bit envious of Nightblades (the class we're most akin to actually) because while both classes needed love, they nerfed Templar and Fixed/Buff Nightblade. We lost our albeit buggy pbaoe cc for an execute I never asked for. If the problems with DPS on Dawn's Wrath skill line had been dealt with (Backlash, Eclipse, Reflecting Light, Flare) appropriately, they would not have needed the Radiant Destruction. Don't get me wrong I like the animation actually for Radiant, but I was opposed to the removal of the pbaoe cc in large part because it was core to my build. My character feels nothing like it was in the beginning. The class has gone through so many changes, and I would have to say that 90% of the changes were toward a negative direction. This doesn't mean the class can't be useful, but it does mean that it needs help.

    Waa playing with a magicka nb in the sewers earlier, his funnel heal or whatever it is was healing me (and all nearby allies) for 5k a tick.

    My purifying ritual + Rapid regen were doing half that.

    Magicka nb new best healers :(

    This is directly related to them nerfing all of the Restoring Light passives to be only functional within the class line. Most classes do not deal with this problem. This has also promoted even greater clunkiness to an already clunky class. I haven't played as a Templar healer on my main templar in a year probably. This isn't to say I haven't played as a templar healer in recent times, its just not been on my main. I personally agree with you that it is more fun to heal as a DK or NB right now, and its certainly not ineffective though it requires your team to be moving in the right places to be as effective.
