I was thinking of buying xyvkin motif from store but I dont know how this works.

Will it be learnt by all my characters or just the one i use it on?
Do i need to have crafting level 50 to use it?
Do I have to have IC to get materials for it?
Can I do transmogs or is it just crafting?

Thank you in advance

Each character will have to learn it separately.
The bought motifs usually are usable by any crafter even skill level 1. I don't know about Xivkyn but I'm assuming it will be.
You can find Charcoal of Remorse (the motif ingredient) for sale at guild traders
    No transmogs.. just crafting.

Just some brief answers: You can only learn it only on ONE character that you use the item for.

You do not need to have IC in order to get it and/or the materials to create it. You have a chance of getting Charcoal of Remorse racial stone (Xivkyn) when you deconstruct any Xivkyn style equipment (which drops in any appropriate dungeon). You can also purchase Charcoal of Remorse from Tel Var merchants in your Alliance’s base in the Imperial Sewers (if you have IC DLC). Charcoal of Remorse can be traded and sold to other players (another way to get it).

There are no transmogs in the game.

EDIT: You must be at least Rank 9 in the Metalworking, Tailoring, or Woodworking passives to permanently learn the style.

And when you say crafter you mean level 50 crafting?

The level of your crafter is largely irrelevant. It's the number of skills you unlock that determines what you can craft. With found motifs, the epic (purple) ones take skill level 7, 8, or more. That's around level 35 or higher. However you can be a level 50 crafter and only able to work in the base materials like iron, maple, and such if you don't unlock the skills.

This is where the bought books are 'better' in that they can be learned by a level 1/skill level 1 crafter just like the normal (blue) ones for the racial motifs like Argonian or Orcish.

It's only a perk available to Imperial Edition of the game and it is only for Imperial Racial style. They will inform us if they want to expand this to other racial styles.

I thought laurels bind to character ...?

    Not sure now.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

But i need to level this character to high crafting which takes a very long time and will be boring. Also it can' t be my main since I won't use my skill points for crafting. My main who i get everything and deconstruct it with is still at around level 27 crafting and he is V5.

Uhhhh........ OP The requirements for all the crown motif books are all at rank 1. It says it in the description of the motif book before you buy it. The rank 9 is only for the pages and books you find in the actual game and from the trophy vaults in IC and guild traders..........

I didnt want to waste my time on the glass page shards so I bought the motif book from the crown store. I was rank 8/10 in all 3 main equiptment craft passives at the time. The glass motif pages acquired through the shards required you to be 10/10..

All your crafts happen to have worked up the same??

That's about the weirdest thing I ever heard.

For me blacksmithing tends to go up fastest since I am a die-hard weapon-rack stealer.

They are not all exactly 27 but around that number and yes I tend to gather anything and just deconstruct it so they should be pretty close to each other.

My problem is that still I won't be able to craft top gear unless i get a character that I don't like level him up at all the crafting traits which takes forever and very boring specially if i'm just playing him for crafting.

If you already have one character worked - a little over 1/2 way up, why start a second character (especially if you don't like deconning & leveling crafting)?

Yes, you will not be able to craft top gear (for a while, anyway), but that's what friends and guildies are for.

Beacuse the character I have worked is my main and I don't want to spend my skill points in crafting and the only reason he level up is that I play him more and just collect everything and deconstruct it. But no way will i be able to play a character just to salvage stuff and level his crafting.

Well, if you don't enjoy crafting and leveling crafting and spending skill points on it and that whole ball of wax, you have pretty much answered your question about 'should I buy [pretty much any crafting related thingie] from the Crown store' with a resounding 'no'.

For me, I have characters of various levels but don't consider any of them "my main" as they are all very different to play. So when I consider spending skill points (or crowns) (heck or gold) I kind of think more in terms of "what would this character like to do".

I have a dunmer (my first character, actually) sorc who likes dual weild, and really really likes daggers. Somewhere around something-teen level I bought a dweomer page (daggers of course) from a guild trader. It was at least a year ago real-time. She still hasn't leveled her blacksmithing quite enough to use it. For that matter across all my accounts I think I only have about 4 dweomer scraps. But I did it (and don't regret it) because it was something she would do.

    And it's still fun.

For you - what is fun?

    Do some more of that.
