Quick question. I bought this game on pc release but my pc didnt handle it well, so i waited the time till console release. My question is simple: why do some people have _ESO at the end of their forums name, and others not? Thanks for helping my curiosity

✭It seems that when you create your account it automatically puts it on there. I had to go in and manually change mine to what I wanted before I got the lovely name I have now.I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

✭That "b16_ESO" (or b17 etc.) comes from the respective beta you participated in and the time you created your account. I had that number in beta, too, but as soon as I re-joined the forums again right after launch, I had one chance to change my name (or delete the numbers)
Almost a year later I also got a full name change in the thread @lolo_01b16_ESO mentioned as well
