I recently tried group finder as a low lvl player (lvl 26) I have 250+ CP and best gear for my lvl (crafted) Was with a group in fungal grotto all around lvl 25. We got pommeled. Now I am not sure if our healer lacked heals or our tank lacked tankiness, but our overall impression was that the scaled v16 dungeon was way way to hard and we didn't complete it either.
The extra damage, stamina, health and magica we got, in no way made up for the lack of skill points, or skills at that lvl. Personally I think it's great they made it possible to grp with more people making it easier to get dungeon groups, but why make non vet dungeons scale to v16 when there are no V players in there? Surely it is possible to make the dungeon scale to the highest lvl player in there and then scale players to that lvl... say a lvl 20, 30, 35 and 48 player grouped together everything would be scaled to lvl 48.
As it is now I am back to not using grp finder and spamming /zone instead..
