Quick Question about Bound Armaments

I am just now setting up my low level magicka sorc's bars and came to bound armor for the morph. yes the more popular magicka morph is for the bonus max magicka but does anyone know for sure if the lightning staff heavy attack is buffed by bound armaments?

I tried it a while back when the appearance had changed.

For magicka builds I didnt find it too useful, the heavy attack dmg bonus works for all heavy weapon attacks but the dps increase is rather small.

If you do a 20k full charged heavy attack its roughly a 2k dmg bonus.
The 8% max magicka of Bound Aegis increases dmg for every magic based attack, including Overload, Liquid Lighting, Force Pulse, Cfrags and staff weapon attacks.

Another benefit is that you have a bigger magicka pool ( = better sustain) and bigger dmg shields.

Thanks for the answer to that. I was just wondering how off track I could take my magicka sorc but I didn't think it would be that helpful of an option overall. Good to know thats well justified.
