Get rid of VR, have all silver and gold zones open up at level 50, for the player to do in any order they choose.

Also allow crafting/gathering/fishing exp count towards total exp - let people level how they'd like to.
    Allow cross-platform transfers and merges

i've said this in different posts aswell
    - More exp for mobs
    - Beter exp in PvP
    - Beter exp in dungeons
    - Beter exp in Trials
P.s. 1 & 2 more mobs = more gold loot but also more repair cost.

Remove VR levels and after 50 let us quest and grind where we like.
Also better exp for PVP would be good.

It should have been made considerably harder to level in this game from the get-go, but it's too late now. Leveling is a huge part of any RPG, including the single player ones! Why even have a leveling system when you make it this friggin easy to reach max level? Totally defeats the purpose.

For one thing simply playing the content as you go should not make you overleveled for the next zone, and yet it does in this game. My only pet peeve with this game to be honest, but Zenimax recognizes people hate to grind which honestly is contradictory to wanting to play an RPG for the reason mentioned above: leveling is a huge part of any RPG!

The current way is hard but i do agree with ZOS when they say they want to make max level 50 and add CP as a requirement to wear different types of armor, it will allow us, the people who have great numbers of CP to level up alts faster :)

This is what I would have said but somebody beat me to it. I will add to this that getting more experience for PVP should be a thing as well, as the only way to level efficiently is PVE.

I could not agree more with you sir. It is so easy to grind thousands of mobs or farm IC and get heaps of XP yet PvP is so hard and so little rewarding. It should be the other way around!

Repair cost comes from gained exp, not dmg dealt to player.

How much easier to level should it get? As of right now, it's the fastest XP gain the game ever had, and now it's still too slow? Seriously? In every other game you level up when it's time to level up, this means, after you accomplished a certain amount of content (quests, weapon/armor skills, crafting, whatnot). Why would we level up now EVEN faster without putting any effort in it? It's fast enough, play the game.

Whats wrong with current system? I dont think they should force people to do Silver/Gold zones, as they are so tedious, basically every zone is same pattern after same pattern, of course it could be just me, Ive done it 3 times, so Ive hit the wall. But Silver/Gold should stay as an option for those who want to play one char only.

I started a thread a few days ago about my surprise at how quickly I was gaining CP's on my second account here.

My only concern with the "CP catch-up" method, is that ALL future characters can go from Zero to Hero (being able to equip endgame toys), just from hitting level 50.

But hey, I'm an altoholic, so I don't mind paying my dues each character. It also doesn't mean I think that everyone needs to do the same.

I just hope that our friends at ZOS will find the right balance, and in doing so our favorite game will continue to grow. :)

Whoever said we need the advancement progression changed?

Well, except the "gimme crowd"... who want to enjoy the maxlevel endgame stuff without spending the effort to play towards it... but fu... uhm... forget those people. I can't really support giving in to those who don't appreciate the effort of the developers to create a wide game world, who want to bypass it all as quick as possible so they can then complain about "not enough endgame content"...

I con sider the current advancement is right as rain until veteran ranks, easy to stay in level range just by doing the questing, easy to exceed them too if you do more, then it does indeed get a tad over-levelly in general compared to cadwells regions thanks to the recent Vet rank requirement reduction from 1M to 850K, which I expect will be all right again come the final phase of the champion system and removal of veteran ranks, so it doesn't worry me.

Making advancement any faster would just mess up things. Would just cater to those who race to the goal without enjoying a balanced stroll along the path, then complain about the game being "boring". Would not be any kind of improvement to the general game quality.

So, how about NO to any such ideas.

NO to more XP from mobs.
HELL NO to more grind spots.
NO to less XP for levels.

If anything, I could agree to bringing PvP expee rewards in line with other methods. But that's it.

I'd like the possibility to downscale to the zone, so I can clear up a whole area without OUTLEVELING it.
OR a battlelevel system allowing me to go wherever I want to enjoy all the stories and quest and not paying attention to the XP gained or not gained.

Would be nice to have a BOOSt in difficulty aswell, the low level content having nerfed too severly in my opinion.

Once the Veteran ranks will be removed, all your Alts characters, once max level, will have excactly the same power than your main character and will be able to equip the same gear. Don't think it's a bad thing though.

More EXP from mobs for sure, but also more EXP from PVP to encourage that as a viable levelling alternative. On top of that, more frequent (and more detailed) dynamic events:

You know how you sometimes encounter a couple of mages duelling? Or a trader being attacked by bandits? Or a conjurer being attacked by their own atronach? You can help them out and get EXP for doing so, but it's a pathetically small amount of EXP and the events just feel so hollow and hastily put together. They need to create more events like this (with more detail in their design) and vastly increase the EXP rewards so that they can act as free-form questing. Right now the only viable method of levelling is by following the linear quest chains and quest hubs, which is pretty much the antithesis of what a TES game should be.

They also need to overhaul the loot system while they're at it. The quest lines are despressing enough already simply for being so linear and rail-roaded. Getting to the end of a long quest line only for your Heavy Armour 2-Handed Warrior to be handed a green Cloth Robe, or a Destruction Staff, is just sad... At the very least the quests should provide an option of rewards (ie: choose one of the following chest pieces: Light, Medium, or Heavy). I also believe the dynamic quest events I outlined above should always provide a single random green or better item, to help players who want to level without questing obtain gear.

We all know these games truly begin at max level. Especially with the VR system / CP system, and the awesome PVP warfare in this game. I don't see why the 1-50 levelling system shouldn't be designed with 100% fun in mind. A better loot system and alternative levelling methods (to encourage a traditional TES playstyle) are essential imo.

This is because of how heavy the geargrind has become in this game. if they don't they will not have a large new player base that will continue the play the game for long. they will get discouraged for being so far behind. the catchup system is good and makes so they can put out a new DLC with a bit higher diffucultyrating. because the power gap isn't as big because people get the power from cp way faster. THIS IS GOOD! i don't think anyone in the community doesn't want new players in the game. the only people who might not want are toxic forum spammers who don't even play the game anymore. to stay healthy ZOS has to cater to the current community AND the future community

After completing Cadwell's Silver and Gold, have the option to start new alts at VR1. Forcing players to play through the entire game with every character seems a bit crazy. I am still working my way through Gold, and I wouldn't fancy having to play the entire content of the game again with an alt. As it stands, I'll stick to just one character.
