Imperials, Nords, Redguards, Bretons: 80-100 years
Dunmer, Altmer, Bosmer: 2-400 years
Argonians, Khajiit: Not really known
Of course, by magical means everyone can increase their lifetime quite much...
Something that is in big debate on every single forum I've seen as of late is the life expectancy of the different races of Tamriel for roleplaying purposes. Can you please elaborate and give us some numbers to work with for each race or at least the Elven races (Altmer, Bosmer, and Dunmer)? – By Nathan Payne / Andrew Hudson
Elves live two to three times as long as humans and the “beast-races” (Orcs, Khajiiti, Argonians). A 200-year-old Elf is old; a 300-year-old Elf is very, very old indeed. Anyone older than that has prolonged his or her lifespan through powerful magic.

I believe Loremaster Lawrence also touched on this a few ESO Lives ago, saying the beast races live pretty average lifespans and Elves live a fair bit longer but not as long as most people think. They can live thousands of years but it's far beyond the norm.
But Khajiit are immortal...M'aiq disagrees with your saying he lives an average lifespan

I've seen that quote before but never realised they put Orcs with the human and beast races, that's interesting. I assumed Orcs would be up with the other elves. I mean Urag gro-Shub of the College of Winterhold implied he was around 600 years old, and that kind of lifespan seems to be an elf-only thing (granted, as you said, incredibly uncommon and would have only been achievable with strong magic). Though from memory most Orcs die young anyway because they'd prefer to die honorably in combat than get old.
I really wish they'd say something on a per-race basis and not use general categories. I mean Altmer were apparently taught to live 100 years longer by the god Phynaster, which seems to imply they'd live longer than the other elves.
I bet you must hate it when the daedra call you "mortal"Uriel_Nocturne wrote: »Personally; I borrow from Tolkien for my RP, and all of my Elves are immortal.
This makes carrying them over between games much easier...

It would seem that Orsimer can live long lives if they want to, especially with magic intervention, but most of them don't seem to be too interested in this, preferring an honourable death in combat before they grow old.
See, the interesting race is Bretons. Some say Bretons live longer than "Men" races whereas others say they live shorter lives, we really don't know for sure. There's one quote about it, saying that Cassynder Septim "aged like a Breton", which could be taken either way as he was already middle-aged by the time he ascended to the throne.
Bretons, whilst being part-Mer, are so far removed from their Mer ancestry by interbreeding with Nords etc that not a whole lot remains and the part that does seems to help with their magic talents and in some accounts even conflicts with their "Men" part to lead to shorter lifespans.
