Pvp assault leveling?

I've never been much of a pvper I do fine in it its just not my cup o tea. Anyway I noticed ic is worthless for assault or support leveling so my question is how to level this fast? Killing players? doing bounties? Taking keeps I just need one more rank to get vigor so what is the fastest exp gain for this skill line. Its always felt like days of pvp yielded nothing but normal level ups and skill points. Then bam a assault rank or support rank..

Just playing the field, defending with a decent sized group will net great rewards. Turning in the pvp bounties as often as you can. I suggest finding a pvp guild or group and committing some time to learning the aspects of pvp and it'll go by fast. Took me a solid week to go from 4 to 5 but I don't have every night to play.

When you successfully defend an area and combat has ended, you get AP for defending that keep or resource. That AP you get is called a Defensive Tick or D-Tick. Likewise, upon capturing a keep you get AP upon flipping both flags. This is called an Offensive Tick or O-Tick. You can also get AP for repairing walls and killing enemy players. Turning in Kill Enemy, Scouting, Scroll quests, and the like will also net you AP. Gaining AP will raise your alliance rank, and you alliance rank determines the level of your Assault and Support skill lines. An alliance rank of 24 (if memory serves) equals Assault/Support skill level 10.

The most efficient way to get AP is to join up with a zergball and mow down your enemies. You will be able to turn in Kill enemy and capture quests much quicker as well.
