Sorcerer Overload and Duel Wield - Twin Blade and Blunt not applicable

So I noticed today that when in Overload form, you do NOT get the benefit to damage from the Twin Blade and Blunt passive when using 2x swords (even if they are curved). All of the skills, even the Overload attacks themselves, are reduced to their base values. (Overload is then modified by the 3% from the Energy Overload morph, and the numbers work out exact.)

Is this intended?

Well, it would seem intended to me.

Overload as a skill replaces your weapons even though it retains the spell damage they provide, so you're not holding swords anymore, you're holding "Overload" weapons which don't benefit from the Twin Blade and Blunt passive.

To be honest, I don't have a damage ability on it.

Just use it as an extra utility bar.

I run efficient purge, retreating maneuver and dark conversion on it for bonuses if I have overload ready. I then slot streak and ward there again.

Regarding your statement, you don't have swords out, so why would it count?

To me, I am still getting the other benefits of having 2 swords equipped, bonus spell damage+set bonus. Therefore it seems inconsistent to get other duel wielding benefits and not this one.

Also, it affects the Overload Light and Heavy attacks, so no matter what you are being affected by it. (Unless you don't use Overload.)

All toggled forms now ignore weapon passive lines, including Overload and Werewolf. This was apart of the fix for when you were receiving benefits of your non toggled form bars while inside your toggle, and were able to exploit ability benifits (mage light, bound aegis, evil hunter, etc) without them being slotted actively. The same thing happens whenever you weapon swap now, for a brief moment you lose all passives and bonuses retaining to gear/items that are swapped off and on.
