Enough with the stopping every five steps /bug 20151122

Ok.. enough of this.. I run, I ride, I walk.. and.. I can go forever with no obstacles, except my character stops, even tho I am holding down the W key, after about five steps, every time he crosses into a new "zone" like into one of the levels of Orsinium or even the front gate. So, I have to notice, then take my finger off the W and start again.. sometimes for five steps, sometimes it works right, other times, it only lasts until the next zone line or quest marker line. He even stops in the middle of nowhere on his mount. I have seen many frustrating bugs, but this one, for the last two weeks, is gonna be a reason for me to take another vacation from this game. Nothing like NOT going to where I want to go because I freaking cant WALK or RIDE there..

BTW, PC NA server.

Have you checked your keyboard? I don't get this and certainly haven't heard of anyone else having it. That or your connection?

Try binding the "Toggle Auto Walk" to a key in the Controls menu and seeing if your character can move further on its own. If so, then it might be something to do with your keyboard or something. This is not an issue I have ever heard of. I've heard of some people moving long distances and getting random load screens as their Internet connection cannot "stream" the receiving of new areas quickly enough, but never just stopping movement like this.

Have you reset your router op?:P:P

Or try a repair install of game.

Thought it was Sticky Keys from Windows settings initially but that makes you run into walls.

I have had this issue as well here and there, and it is irritating, but it normallly goes away.

Ok.. My "w" key works fine in other programs.. I can fill five full pages with W from holding down the key in my word processors...Not Sticky Keys either, tho that was a good idea.Never had it kick in inside of game and been playing since Beta...

Which brings up.. this is like the Cyrodiil bug we had a while back, where we would constantly stop at the top of every hill, mountain and rock.

A few of my guildies have this going on also. Surprised no one else in the forums is saying anything tho. Just putting it out there for when people decide to add to it.
