Recovery Mechanics

I've noticed that recovery ticks only once every two seconds, but does the recovery give you whatever your number is every two seconds or does it add up to twice the recovery number (i.e. average out to your recovery number per second)?

If that sentence was confusing, say my health recovery is only 200. After 10 seconds, do I get 2000 health back or do I get 1000 health back?

Thanks!

you get the recovery values in your char sheet every two seconds while in combat and every second out of combat.

Ok thanks. I'm just curious how you know this for sure? It's interesting they would choose to make it like that because it would be much easier to show values per second; however, if that's how it works then it's really a good thing to know.

Can't tell for out of combat. But in combat it's indeed the character sheet value per two seconds.

its rather easy to observe when you tested your max stamina reg values on the PTS... 4,5k stam reg values are really noticable and thus the tick frames recognizable at ease.

and one of the tootlips (a loadingscreen on was it i blieve) mentioned that in fight your regrates are halfed. and the easiest way of implemention is to double the time between two reg ticks.
