how do you turn off email notices for questions?

what the title said I am not asking this as a "question" because the spam would get so annoying. I unchecked every email box yet I still get the" ___answered your question" or"___accepted votre answer" (that was the exact title of the last one the rest are correct why did this one come in french?). either way I would love to figure out how to not receive emails from questions the popup notices are enough. and before you say it yes I know you can "just delete it" but I would rather not receive them in the first place.

I have mine all off as well and never receive e-mails.

Only thing i can offer, if you DID have them turned on before, its possible those settings are saved in either your browser cache or the cookies for this site.

Try deleting your browser cache and cookies and re-check what those check boxes are.

I get those pop ups too,and I scroll up to see if anything is there,but nope.Weird.

I unchecked all the email boxes in Notification Preferences and stopped receiving emails, maybe double check you saved it with them all unchecked? I'm not aware of any other options for this except on that settings page.
