They should all change to the elemental damage that your staff does; it just shows magic as this is the general damage type.

If that's true then that's fine. If it procs the sets and champion points. But since I'm on ps4 I don't have the benefit of any add one to give me this info during attacks. If this is the case then why don't they spend the 5 minutes to clarify the tool tip?

Because it'd make it a fairly large tooltip?
When you add the skill to your bar it actually changed the appearance of the skill to that element (e.g Impulse is red when a fire destro is equipped, white/blue when lightning is). I've never noticed it being a problem before, have they actually changed the tooltip at all?

The succession set is useless now, winterborn is garbage, and the Maelstrom staves's enchantment (other than SD) become more useless. Honestly, if this isn't a mistake then what we're you thinking? Wall of ELEMENTS! And the others have animations that are elemental.
ZOS fire your God awful developers and hire someone new.

I'm aware of the animation, I pointed it out in my first post. It would be one sentence extra on the tool tip "damage done will correspond to type of staff".
But to the point, the animation is irrelevant. I just want to know if the damage triggers elemental expert CP, if it triggers succession, and if it triggers winterborn. Because if not then that's going to be a tough one to explain I think.

They are affected, my fire mage has it's damage come from Ele Expert CP just fine for those skills.
Succession is sadly very inferior to Julianos except in very strange rotations due to the fact that it only buffs that element for four seconds every 12 seconds at max. If you're spamming Force Pulse, you'll get it to proc off of only one damage type each tick, lowering overall damage boosted through the set by 2/3.

Yeah, I have no doubt julianos should win. I'm using TBS right now but I was hoping that some odd build could beat julianos in dps because I think julianos is extremely lazy item design.

TBS itself is the odd build, in that you can do so much with it. Granted some combinations work much better, but for solo play a lot of different ones could work.
I just want my VR16 (or scaled CP) Silks of the Sun...
Issue I have with Twice Born Star is that it has very low regen options in arena
