Veteran Pledges before VR16

Today we did the Banished cells, it is the daily pledge.
The instance was VR16 and we were between VR1 and VR6. We finished it and i got my skill point from the quest that u get inside there.
However none of us got anything from the pledge,s quest finished and if we look at the map we still see the markings of the area,s that we had to do.
What,s going on?

I have no idea if you mean the silver or the gold pledge for Banished Cells, but for instances like BC, EH, DC, WTG etc., which have a veteran and a normal version, you need to set the right difficulty level in the group tool (under p).

We did the veteran version, and everyone of us was scaled up to max level. i as healer had 32k max magicka and 2k regen for example at VR2.
The normal daily pledge we just ran and finished then got a key.

Now we did veteran Banished cells, and on your map you see the markers but after killing everything the markers didnt dissapear and so no gold key

When you say "quest finished", I'm assuming you mean the dungeon quest and not the pledge quest. If you look at the pledge quest, did you kill the bosses it lists? It's entirely possible to finish the dungeon quest and skip/miss bosses from the pledge quest.

Apparantly we did the normal version but scaled to vr16, pretty weird because i used the group finder and set it to veteran banished cells. The mobs were vr16 but i looked at youtube and 1 of the bosses was a flame one, but we had a ghost type.
Must be a bug.

Same happened to me a while ago, did the dungeon, finished the quest but markers stay and gold seem like not completed.

I've logged out and after 30 mins or something I relog, all was OK, I got the gold key.

Maybe like server-side issue.

yeah happened to me in CoH last weak too.
we stopped at first boss tough as we noticed it is normal mode.

no chance to change mode from group finder groups sadly

You also need to make sure the entire group is outside the dungeon before changing the mode. Can't be changed once anyone is inside.

It should say, i did the normal mode at the same time as the pledge and was confused...

Confusing it is....

Go to group finder, select veteran dungeon : Banished Cells.
Get dropped in a party by the group finder and proceed to finish the dungeon, after clearing it we all stand there like WTF just happened?
We disband party and here i am on the forum asking what just happenend.

Creating a correct title while not knowing what just happend, seems pretty weird in itself doesnt it?

Ok, then here's the determining factor. When fighting Rillis at the end, did he summon Daedroth and pick up/drop people?

If yes, then Vet, if no then Non-Vet.

I already came to the conclusion that we al were dropped in a normal instance 6 posts ago.
The confusion factor is only the group finder.

4 random people went to Group finder then chose the veteran dungeon, on the PS4 it,s on a different tab, cant click the wrong one even if u would like to.

And Laksikus seem to have had the same thing last week. The big difference is he knew and although i have 203 CP atm i never did a dungeon before and thus didnt see the difference untill i watched Youtube.
