Hallo guys, a bit of a noob question:

What happens when the durability of my armor gets to 0 %? Does it destroy itself completelly ("vanish") or is only the armor protection reduced to 0 %.

I mean if I am in the middle of a quest. if I have to worry about loosing that armor part when it gets to 0 %, or can I finish the quest and get it repaired afterwards?

Just gets reduced to 0, you'll have no resistance and passives from the armor tree and enchants won't work.

For instance a piece of light armor with a magicks enchant won't give magicks, and you'll lose the cost reduction regen and other light armor passives till its been repaired at any merchant.

ok, that is great. So it can not happen, that when it drops to 0 and I still use it when finishing the quest, it gets destroyed permanently, right?

The only way it will get destroyed is if you deconstruct it or destroy it yourself.

Edit: Although you should try keep it repaired because the armour passives help a lot.

    good then .

Yes I know, I always repair my armor even when it drops to 25 %. But yesterday it was the first time when one part of my armor set dropped to 2 % so I was a bit worried if I will not destroy it completelly.

Thank you guys for your replies, I feel better now :)
