[Veteran Level 18] Confirmed?

Yesterday someone showed a Veteran 18 legendary Staff in Chat. So the Item already exists in the player data.

Now the question @ZOS_GinaBruno Is it confirmed, that with the next patch, there will be a level rise?

In this case this wouold be extremely unsatisfying, because i alredy crafted 3 gears with full legendary upgrade...
Are you doing this to maintain a capitalistic economy?

A confirmation would be nice, because otherwise...

They were going to raise the cap with orisnium so its most likely left over from that.

There's multiple threads asking the same question and it's been CONFIRMED BY ZOS that no vr rank increase, EVER and that they are going next year.

Hm, I remember that before IC release someone was posting items that do not exist in game... Like vr16 Cyrodiil's jewelry or something like that, I cant remember.

It is pretty easy to manipulate item links to show items that are not obtainable in game by copying the link outside the game and adjusting the values.
I also saw a few guild members post some non-existent items this week, so I guess they found my dev addon which provides an interface to create item links.

no, it's most likely a random item someone datamined. You can find all sorts of wierd and random stuff in the code.
