Group Finder needs another option...

I used the group finder to run this mornings normal pledge in Darkshade. Never mind we had a level 22 in the group which should be impossible for Undaunted runs because they need to be level 45 to get pledges.. But I was trudging thru Shadowfen for 30-40 minutes and started a dolmen. About halfway thru the initial battles I get prompted to join the group. I have two options [F] Teleport now, [X] Hide message. WTF? I can't pause until I finish the dolmen? So I tried clearing it.. killed the boss and before the chest dropped.. Poof! Darkshade Cavern. Finished the run, went back, and the dolmen is marked undone and I have to do it again. Stupid UI design seems to be the hallmark of ESO. Do you guys have contests for that? "Heh, I bet we can make this fail! Watch!"

They also need to allow us to queue for more than one dungeon and less than all dungeons. Just let us check the ones we want to queue for and group us with the first available group.

    Hear! Hear!

The missing parts, as I see it, are

    1) We need to be able to group for World Bosses (again). This feature was removed and now with actual tough WB fights in Orsinium it needs to be returned.
    2) We need to be able to group for Pledges separate from random quests. Level 14 players may get scaled to the right amount of health/magicka/stamina but they don't have the skills unlocked.
    3) The ability to select which dungeon or DUNGEONS we want to queue for
    4) The ability to bail on the group. If I'm looking for a V16 pledge and everyone I group with is non-vet sorry, that's not a run I want to do.

OP, that does sound like a lame experience. If you get ported into the dungeon, you can exit right away to return to your point of origin... not sure whether the chest would still be there, though.

Also, once you are in a LFG group, if you select decline to the initial prompt to port to the dungeon, you will automatically be ported to the dungeon in 60 seconds. The same applies if you leave the dungeon. You will only see the prompt the first time.

    1) In Orsinium, zone chat is probably better for world boss groups anyway.
    2) Make sure you select the "veteran mode" icon when activating LFG. Level 14 characters are not able to use the tool for veteran dungeons (nor are they able to get veteran pledge quests). FWIW, I've done multiple normal mode runs with characters in the level 20-30 range, with no problems.
3)You can select a single dungeon or all of them. I agree that dungeon selection could be more flexible.
4)You can leave the group, same as any other group. If you do, you'll be transported out of the dungeon.

Personally, I have had good experiences with the LFG too since cross-faction and "battle leveling" were added. Not sure why other's haven't, guess I'm just lucky?

It just needs improvements, it's better than it was before but it could be much better. ZOS knows this and they are improving it so it a good for ZOS to hear feedback now.

I think it would be much better if they just got rid of the entire current stab-in-the-dark LFG tool system. Replace it with an announcement board type thing where you can see who wants to run which dungeon and can manually select which group you want to join.

Edit: If this creates too much elitism among the playerbase, just make it anonymous, but keep the manual aspect of joining/creating groups, show how many people are looking for what content, and form the group only when it's ready.

I think all things being equal it is 100% better than the old system. It is fast and yesterday I was able to queue and do a dungeon within 1 minute of selecting it. Seperating the VET from Normal modes seems to be the only bug but if you don't like it you can always bounce..
