What was that last quest? HUM????? It was GORGEOUS. And then The Prophet appeared! WHAT?!! He revealed us the future DLCs!! And it is AMAZING! How can nobody be talking about this?

I loved Orsinium. Loved it. I just can't describe it... All the scenarios, the quests! Have you ever seen a MMO like this? Have you?!

After coming back from a really long break I must say I was very, very impressed with Orsinium.

Awesome quests and story. Best 3000yen spent ever.

Looking forward to the next solo DLC ^^

Yeah I was wondering why I hadn't seen any threads talking about the end of the Orsinium story-line and Varen's appearance. I was about to make a thread myself.

I had Varen killed before getting to Molag Bal and some dialogue reflected that decision. Before he left he said I wouldn't see him again. I was wondering, was there anything different experienced by people who chose to have a different companion killed?

Also, he mentioned the next great conflict (something to do with Daedric Princes) would begin when the gates of Sotha Sil's lost city open. It's nice to see this continuity between DLCs. I can't wait to get to explore Clockwork City and see if that ties in somehow to getting to visit Mephala's Realm.

But before all that I was talking to Alinon the Alchemist and he mentioned that he feeling like Darien might show up even though everyone thinks he's dead. He jokingly said he'd probably run into him at an inn in Murkmire. When I had to run through the Temple of Ire Library there was this strange note that seemed to be directly addressing my character and implied that Darien was in fact alive but was stuck somewhere.

Looks like we'll be seeing Darien again once Murkmire drops. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the second half of 2016 for that one.

Anyway, real cool to see characters from the base game main story coming back.

I must have missed something when I played though Orsinium. I was pretty tired when I finally finished it but I don't remember Varen Showing up. Guess that just means I'll have to complete it again on one of my alts.

If you kill any other companion he still shows and tells you that he is about to die and move on to Aetherius (so pretty much you sacrificed the wrong guy cose now the old guy is also dead...what a waste)

The dialogue is a bit different depending on your final decision.
If he's alive, he says he's at the edge of the world and is going to move on to the immortal plane
I can't remember what he said to me as I had chosen to kill him. I know the dialogue involved me saying "I've seen you die" and then i just remember the Sotha Sil part.


Makes me wonder how this all goes when you haven't finished the main story yet (since you can hop into Orsinium from level 10). I even used the <I Defeated Molag Bal> line in a few quests. Hmm...

Any1 been to Orsinium prior to finishing main story and willing to share how it went down?

I played through and finished most of the Orisnium DLC starting fresh from a level 3. Saw no Varen, I believe I was able to tell Malacath I had defeated Molag Bal? Not sure since I also did it on my vets. Bumnog from the Daggers (Glenumbra quest) didn't act as if I'd done the quest or knew him - also had a different back-story.

Edit: Also was able to read the journal entry from Darien, freaky eh?

There were about 3 threads before this one about Varen and the hints to Darien returning. You probably haven't seen them as they are by now dropped down in the "recent" pages.

Woa, hold on. I didn't get to play through the quests in Orsinium yet - but... Darien will be back at some point?! Woooooop. *-*

I really didn't care for the Orsinium quests and story line. The base game story made you feel like the hero and NPC's even referred to you as the "champion", but in Orsinium you're basically some lame Orc's gopher, running around doing all his dirty work and getting zero credit. There were several times I just wanted the whole thing to be over.

Personally, this DLC has been a let down for me. I was forced to power level crafting on my main and spend 30+ skill points in it just so I could gather mats for my crafter alt. I don't even want to do writs anymore and I used to love doing writs. There's no new dungeon instances to explore. The armor sets are all BOP. The only bright spot has been grouping up to do the WB dailies, but those are short lived and already becoming repetitive. I haven't done the arena yet and really not looking forward to it based on the feedback so far.

If anything the game needs more *** options like TES III where you could tell Vivec to screw right off and kill him.

Requesting that we be able to kill Sotha Sil ourselves in the Clockwork City x-pac because *** the False Three.

Love the story but cant get over the countless bugs, insanely low drop rates and worthless rewards from insanely hard world bosses. Good es game as they all are but fails in almost every other way.

Orsinium was good. I'm disappointed there were no fighter/mages guild story progression there.

They're all over in the Main Quest section, where mega-spoilers are supposed to be

Haha hell no. Game sucks but I really wanted to play a MMO and the only reason I choose ESO was because it was supossed to be a TES game. Orsinium is great though i'll give you that
