If that screenshot (here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/231472/zenimax-feedback-meeting-report-from-16-11-2015/p1) is not fake, I just want to say: This is a great idea, everytime I get a BoP item that's useless to me I wish I could give it away to one of my friends who are helping me.

That said, if they are going to put in the effort to improve the current situation, why not make a token system instead?
I don't see how that would be technically more difficult.
There's plenty of ways group BOP could go wrong that I can imagine too.
