What is the difference in XP between going from lvl 49-VR1 and going from VR1-VR2? If ZOS just flattens VR levels to 50-65, won't they be negating a nearly logarithmic increase in XP?

Hence why a lot of us (it seems at least) think that if it's flattened into normal levels, they will stretch it past just lvl65. This way the same amount of effort is put in to max-leveling a char but they also give the illusion that it's faster because you can levels much more commonly.

And yea, they keep saying that the only reason that they have not done it yet (removed VRs, i mean) is because itz too complicated science and scaling and gaming and skilsl and stuff. It's science. Remember we're talking about a game that still teleports you into teh sky when you log in sometimes

In effect, veteran levels are a slowdown of character advancement. Or maybe a slowdown of gear advancement if you look at it from the other side... it allowed them to have the cadwells regions at "one region per V-rank" in terms of advancement, whereas regions back in the storyline progression were more like worth eight to five levels in termsn of enemy mobs, advancement and gear drops...

Personally I like how "things change" after the mainstory, though we all have heard veteran ranks are supposed to be phased out someday in the not too distant future... guess we'll see how things get done then. Might be, they will just tack on levels, though the rumours I heard seem to indicate it will be "all level50" and some alternate system for gear advancement or something... time will tell.

I disagree. The parentheses in the title remove any possibility of there being a choice between discussing live nude dancing or XP. The exclamation point indicates the closing of the phrase "Live nude dancing", rendering anything that comes after it either a comment on live nude dancing, or an afterthought that relates to it. Anyhow, I'm still waiting for the discussion on live nude dancing.

You care about leveling to 65? You do know there is people out there with 2000 champion points right? And when you are around 500 ish cp, you need 1 million xp to get one. Everyone forgot this?

I don't think that's true since they lowered the XP needed to level in Veteran Ranks from 1 million to 850,000...
