So ... how boring does it get at VR16?

... because apparently many VR16 players have nothing better to do than camp out by the Cyrodiil quest givers and gank the noobs that are trying to do the quests ...

I mean, aren't there farms and lumber mills and mines and keeps to take? Aren't there scrolls to acquire? Do these people really not have anything better to do than lord their accumulated Champion Point passives and unlocked skill point passives and vampire skill trees over level 10 or 12 players who, even with the Cyrodiil buffs, don't stand a chance against their 12K+ damage attacks?

What's the fun, really, in pwning all over noobs who don't stand a chance against you unless they're fighting you 10 on 1?

That's the PvP mentality. An easy kill is a kill after all.

That's also why I don't like PvP.

Don't ever play Destiny, then ... at least in ESO's PvP there *are* other things to do than gank noobs ...

I have not been bored yet at all. I don't do what you described above but i don't feel bad for the low levels. You go into pvp you are fair game to the enemy even if it is a *** thing to do.
I really enjoy pvp and accept the fact i will die and i will never be the "best" in there. Run with a group and level up more first. If you dont expect to get killed a lot in pvp at low level then you are not playing realistically. I guess i've been jumped by people enough at all lvls pretty much everywhere in cyro that i just expect it at any moment anywhere.

just some egomaniacs with no actual skills do that. so they can say they killed 3 people without dieing alone instead of i died 100 times before i actuallly find someone i could kill

The real fun begins at V16 IMO.

I haven't been to those quest hubs in ages, but it was a lot of fun to go there and grief questers of the other alliances while I was doing my own quests.

IMO it is the same as in real life: the weak exploit the weaker, the one who is strong will challenge oneself to be stronger... Not good, nor bad, it just is...

It's seriously ridiculous. On Xbox there are so many V16 Tyros camping quest hubs waiting to spam their WB's on every level 10 that rolls up.

Sometimes it gets so boring that one goes and does the Cyro quests where some preferably whiny noob may get confused for an NPC.

That's not what I'm talking about. Getting in fights with players from other factions is part and parcel of PvP, and getting your @$$ handed to you at low level is a given.

I'm talking about the guys who sit there and CAMP the questgivers, for HOURS, just killing all the low levels that come in to do the quests.

I leads me to wonder just how horribly bored (and/or sociopathic) a person has to be to actually enjoy doing that for hours on end.
