Why is it showing off to ride a mount you have purchased?

Who would care if someone else is riding a different mount than them?

I guess I view it as anyone who gets upset is overly focused on things that don't matter.

I saw a lot of bears in Orsinium this morning. No biggie.

Anyone who wanted to access it and doesn't want to pay for the subscription got the could get the bear for free when they chose which Orsinium pack to buy.

You know I saw a lot of cloud leopards awhile back when those were released. Never did like cats so didn't buy it, no biggie.

Worry more about having fun and less about others

I'm talking about the people who go to Davon's Watch and do laps with their mount and pet Sometimes they stand still and walk up to other players to be gawked at. I'm not having a go, I just find it strange xD

Dang, I still guess I see it differently.

If that is their idea of fun, ummm ok. Hell whatever floats their boat. I guess I don't really start minding until someone starts flooding area chat with graphic sex talk and lewdness. No one gives a crap about your naked pics on twitter.

So back to the bears.

I hear a lot of kids in those beginner areas. Real young folks who just don't level like older players can and do. At least it gives them cool stuff to see.

I let my 4 year old grand daughter run around Davon's Watch riding my horses. Heck there is nothing in that whole continent that can harm my toon. It is adorable she runs up to "bad guys" like the ghosts right outside of the city and they just sit there and whale on her and it doesnt do anything. Eventually she gets the toon turned in the right direction and is able to land a hit.

She'd love to see the bears. Especially the baby ones.

Awww that's adorable! I think the pet baby bear plays with butterflies now and then. It's pretty cute. I think the goat is sweet too. Smaller than I expected!

Not to mention a lot of RPers that hang out in beginner zones. Because its well populated. Its not always prancing around. I for one do a lot of farming there. But sometimes I go into slow mode and just look at whats going on, or wander the streets solo RPing my Char. And sometimes I hang out and look cool, maybe flip a coin :P

I'm an RPer too I showed off a bit at Halloween as I dressed myself up in full black and red Xivkyn armour, had my Daedric Lord Slayer title active and a zombie mount. I felt pretty dark and bad***. I RPed a little then felt she seemed *too* evil and went back to my character's regular loving self xD

I was in Mournhold last night with my VR16 riding a bear mount all around town. It wasn't because I was trying to show off though, it was because I was waiting for a friend. I'm also in Davon's Watch a lot. I'm not trying to argue your point about people showing off. In fact I would imagine there are a lot of people that like to show off in this game, just saying that I'm not one to show off.
