Please thank everyone involved for the EXCELLENT JOB they did on the loading screen fix in this patch. Now the longest loading screen I have is the initial logon which takes maybe 25 seconds at times. I think the longest one I encountered was maybe 15 seconds. It sure pays off to have a SSD!

Really, thank you all for your hard work on this. It really paid off in a big way.

For those of you that still have loading screens longer than 30 seconds, get a SSD!

    So what, yeah it should have been fixed before now. Thats not the point. The point is they finally did it and it works better than it did before. Let them be praised, its not as if theres a reason to do that everyday. And people are HAPPY about it!

    The broke it, they took months to fix it.

    They introduce a bug, take weeks to sort it, and finally do (almost).

    I'd be more inclined to be happy if they had also fixed the switch from first person view to third person view whenever you go through a load screen - but they only introduced that bug a week ago so I expect it will be the New Year before it's fixed :(

    Can agree. I am glad that they pinned down the issues and were able to fix them. I'm grateful for ~10 second loading screens as opposed to 2+ minutes.

    My loading screens are always the same, 20 seconds, 15, sometimes more... 30 or 1 minute.

    In my opinion even 15 seconds are too much, no loading screen of wow takes more than 2 or 5 seconds. Even to loggin and out to change character is instantly.

    Sorry but this *** me off, when I need to swap char to organize my inventory for example.

    Wow so much fans out there. Relax bros, like many genius people say (including me) it was about damn time. I agree with brain users when they say : "this should have never happened in the 1st place" . But heeeeey yeeaaaa good job guys (pads on the back rolling eyes)

    i agree. i have loads from 5-15(generally) seconds up to 20-30+(sometimes - it is always when there is high latency), using a standard 7200rpmHDD.
