Why don't guilds get the money from people buying tabards?

If we make guild tabards and ask our members to buy them, shouldn't we get that money? I mean, shouldn't it go right into the guild bank? People are buying tabards and basically just throwing 2,000 gold away. I really thought that the guilds got the money, that's why I bought tabards, to help support the guilds I'm in. I'm really just throwing away 2000 gold.

✭✭Because the game needs gold sinks, otherwise we would just have endless inflation. I personally don't think they are too expensive. You can allready buy 50 guild tabards for the money it takes to get the materials to craft 1 piece of end game armour.0 -
