Night Light

I have been looking at the sky at night in the new DLC and to me it seems more like "evening" then night time in terms of darkness.

I wonder how my fellow ESO players feel about how dark / light the night time sky should be.

The night sky should be darker than it is now however not to dark due to the two Moons that Nirn has.

Me too, but the night sky is to bright IMHO to see the stars and that is why I want the night sky darker.

I played Morrowind with the realistic darkness mod back in the day... it lasted until I entered my first cave. Trust me when I say that no one wants realistic darkness in game except masochists

Make it dark enough so that you can't see as far/much as you can during the day, but not so dark that it makes the game difficult - maybe it could be an adjustable option, where you can choose how bright/dark you want the night to be? Just a thought

Yes, I played through the lightless oubilette without activating my light (starved those essences of darkness anti-wisps!)

Add more darkness, then add options.
I would love to have a torch for your costume slot that unequips, vanishes (and drops to the ground where it burns for a shurt while before fizzling out) when you draw your weapon(s) to fight...
I would love to have a lantern that does the same, except stays in your inventory to be "picked up" again after the fight...
I would love to have magical "light stones" that do the same as a lantern.
I would love to have a cat's eye spell to let people see in the dark without carrying a light to give away their position... (khajiit could get this as racial... maybe a lesser version then the spell, but still)
I would love to have some of the trophies work a bit better (or rather, longer) at lighting your way...
And finally, magelight always should work.

Since the game isnt on Earth,that choice is absolutely irrelevant.

The night sky is fine as is.

With complete darkness at night, we should be able to use torches. Otherwise it's just standing around waiting for dawn. Since we cannot use torches nor take a nap until morning like in the single player ES games, I prefer to actually see where I go when it's nighttime.

I had a mod that gave me a night light ring and a belt of feather weight.So,it wasnt always absolutely dark,and I didnt have to worry about overload weight.

Realistic lighting was amazing. It actually gave torches a reason to exist on Skyrim. Made it so much more nerv racking not knowing what lurked in the dark 10 feet in front of you.

LOL I agree with that if only Oblivions darkness mod all natural worked like that it only works with min brightness and even still I can see bright fog at long distances! oh well, the lights look great with that mod.
