Did ZOS allegedly reduce server capacity to save money?

That would explain the lag getting worse every f...patch although they try to make so called "improvements"
3pm - my ping constantly at 150...small scale pvp starts and lag just hits me so hard in the face.

Pretty sure unless we know someone inside Zenimax/ZOS we will never know for sure.

I would say however which campaign are you playing on? As at least from the EU servers Azura is the laggy one because its the only one worth playing and as such every PvP player goes there.

Still to this day baffled why they changed Thornblade to 7days and killed it, would be have been better to change the rules but keep it 30 days. Also we have enough campaigns to play on without lag, but as the populations are so spread out on their IC farming campaigns we don't see any PvP on them.

They honestly need to start addressing the Cyrodiil issues more with large ideas rather than these little band aid attempts every large release. I mean we still have four (or three, I forget) 30 day campaigns which one of is actually active. Just close two of them and let's make Azura & one other what we use to have with Thornblade and Azura. Then one or two smaller campaigns, however even that seems to be too many for the EU populations to actually fight each other.

As a general consensus most players I have spoken with on all factions don't mind a queue as long as there is content and stability once inside.

Yes I play on Azura ad up until Orsinium update I could at least play in the afternoon till like 5-6pm without lag. Now it already starts at 3pm...1 small fight going on on the map and RIP performance. They must have decreased the number of servers in their Servercenter to save money. I Mean, why would it get worse although they did not really change anything at all?

Trueflame was a good alternative, until it turned into DC zerg central.. so now many people moved to Spellbreaker... which is the current place-to-go when Azura ping reaches 20000000000 (read: every evening)
