Hi if I choose to purchase a premium membership for one month, that means i have access to the dlc. But will that access go away after the month is up?

correct, you can still use the crowns you recieve towards the purchase of the DLC if you no longer wish to subscribe after that however.

Yes, your must be subscribed to have access . Otherwise people would pay $15, immediately cancel, and own all the DLC forever.
