MagBlade Crit Build for PvP

Figured I'd simply edit my old thread instead of making yet another one >.>

This is a little idea that's been bothering me for a couple of days now, and I'd like a bit of input on it from all of you wonderful PvPers out there:

Crit Build for PvP

Currently I'm running 5 pcs Julianos, 2-3 pcs Torug, 3 pcs Willpower with SD enchants and 1 pc Molag Kena (7 divines with Atronach Mundus)

What if I were to do the following:
- Replace both Torug and Kena with Twilight's Embrace 3-4 pcs for the extra Spell Crit? I'd lose out on a bit of Spell Damage (and Weapon Damage, which isn't needed actually) in exchange for extra Spell Crit (10% I think, removing Julianos brought me down from 44% to 26%, so the buff from Twilight might bring me to 53%, still need to test this)
- Remove my CP from Thaumaturge and put everything into Elfborn? With the 75 Passive from the Lady and the fact that I rely heavily on Funnel Health might mean Elfborn could do some sick damage and increase my HP sustain. Only thing I'm don't know is if Elfborn boost the damage from Spell Crits, or does it increase the Spell Crit % too?
- Replace the Atronach with the Thief stone? My Magicka regen would hit a mere 900-1000 in that case, but with the 7pc Divines it would cause my Spell Crit to reach at least 70%
- Inner Light? Probably not a good idea for PvP (I do have 1 random slot on my Resto Staff bar, but generally not a good idea to remove Mass Hysteria or Concealed Weapon then from my DW offensive bar)

Yes, I'm well aware that Spell Crit doesn't affect Shields so it might put me at a disadvantage vs Shield Stackers. This is just an idea I've been working on, and I'd just like to know if some of these things could work. I mean, with that high Crit values, I could do some insane dmg vs other players.

Thx in advance for taking your time helping me,
Tryxus

Dark Cloak: Shadowy doesnt let you crit dmg sheilds or blockers. And how ya gonna stealth with dots on you? Lol

Clouding Swarm: Nightblades gain 10% wpn and spell dmg while stealth/cloaked/invis. Yes it prcs the stun from concealed/surprise and as a Khajiit or Bosmer you gain an additional 10% to your abilities dmg!

Swallow Soul: I'm pretty sure they generate the same amount of Ultimate but i could be wrong on this one. Either way the extra 8% healing recieved is worth it anyways imo.

Camo Hunter: No. Just no. It only gives weapon crit and there are much better abilities you can use. Like Inner Light.

Alliance War: Only ones i personally get (and only somtimes use) are proximity detonation, purge, and retreating manuevers.

    Hope this helps! :)

Yeah, I guess when your rear is on fire, it pretty much gives away your position :pDark Cloak it is

A skeletal guildie of mine also mentioned going Clouding Swarm so I guess I'll change the morph soon. But how does the invisibility work? Can you still be affected by Mark, AoE, Light/Heavy Attacks,... ?

I actually took Swallow Soul in the very beginning, but switched to Funnel Health since it heals 2 allies as well so I figured it might generate more Ultimate for faster Soul Harvests. But if it doesn't then yeah, Swallow Soul might be more interesting due to the reduced healing in Cyro

The reason I asked for Camo Hunter is because I have 8 unspent Skill Points that I don't know where to put (got everything in the class skill lines, everything in the 3 armor skill lines except Evasion, Immovable and the 5pc passives from Med/Heavy, Destro/Resto staff everything, 6 points in Dual Wield, 4 points Legerdemain for improved hiding, Vamp everything except Savage Feeding, Soul Magic everything, Racials, 7 points FG passives, 4 Undaunted Passives, everything Mages Guild expect Persuasion, 12 in Alliance War and 84 in Crafting)

So with those 8 points left, I figured I might grab some skills from FG and Undaunted:
    - Dawnbreaker of Smiting
    - Tangling Webs
    - Mystic Orb
    - ???

So Camo Hunter seemed interesting: a Stamina Skill that does Magic Damage while Stealthed (though I don't know if every attack does more damage, or just Light/Heavy Attacks)

Dark Cloak - you´ll get more out of cleansing the dots on you and you wont be able to crit on shields / blocks

Clouding Swarm - goes really well with magblade! just make sure you´re not marked before you pop it ;)

Funnel Health - if you´re playing with a group, Funnel any day!!

Camo / Evil Hunter - I´d go with camo, but I wouldnt waste a slot on my bars with this as it does very little damage if you´re a magblade

Retreating Maneuver - when you need to ride somewhere quick ;)

Efficient Purge - great for "zerging" through oils / meatbags

Proxy Detonation - a must have!! still insane burst ;)

Barrier / Aggr. Horn - great for increased survivability / dps

If you are marked before going into Clouding Swarm its the same as being marked when you stealth or cloaked. You still get the bonus's but they can see you and thus attack you. Yes aoe's will still hit you when your invis but wont cancel the invis.

Dawnbreaker of smiting is good when in IC for both npcs and players.

My suggestion is finish ff your crafting passives lol

Sap essence? entropy? the Major Sorcery buff is something to consider in a mag NB (especially if you have high crits) and the empower buff through might of the guild is something that can change fights (entropy -> funnel health = nice DMG and great healing) while sap essence has a decent heal

Merciless ressolve? (8% more dmg and the possibility of assasin's will)

As a Mageblade, Mages Guild skills are a nice option

Stick with the Atronach. If you can get your crit to 50% without it your goid.
