Briarheart Set- IC Sewers Chest Drop

I was in IC sewers yesterday and opened a "simple" chest and received a blue v16 Briarheart set ring. I thought this set was only obtainable in Orsinium? Did they make a change that I don't know about? If it was in the patch notes somewhere, please quote it so i can check it out

These 3 sets (Pariah, Briarheart and Trinimac's Valor(?)) were dropping from those chests since Orsinium launch... They can also drop from Cyrodiil treasure map chests.

Supposed to drop from Cyrodiil chests as well... But only after sacrificing the appropriate number of male virgins to the gods of RNG (all of them, their number is RNG, continue sacrificing until you get one and hope you don't overshoot).

V16? Did you double-check if it´s not V15? I got already 5 parts of this set out of IC chest (some parts twice or even more), every single one being V15...

I got v16 stuff so yah.

If it's V16 I think it should be purple, not blue. If it is blue then of course it should be V15.

VR16 gear can drop from chests, but it's rare. Even more rare getting the trait you want. Jewelry from chest drops in blue, Wrothgar dailies can drop in purple.

I've had tons of blue v16 stuff drop. And blue v14 before IC.

if this is true, and not unintended, i think i might actually commend Zeni for not being complete sellouts and keeping new sets to new DLC only, shows they might not be a s stupid as we believed they are. now if they jack every set in the game to be droppable no matter what level (salvation v16 anyone?) then i might actually finally enjoy leveling AND grinding. because theres reward possibilities for the masses and not just a few fotm builds

I've had tons of blue v16 stuff drop. And blue v14 before IC.

No argument pre-IC but all the V16 items I've gotten so far from these three sets have been purple. All have come from the dailies on Wrothgar. All the V15 stuff has been blue. Maybe the IC drops are different but if I get a blue piece of V16 jewelry from these sets I'm going to be pretty ticked. The sets aren't that good to begin with.

I've gotten V16 purple jewelry (Neck and ring) completing the Wrothgar dailies. My V15 belt is blue.

I farmed over 500 chests to get the sets I wanted in V16. They do drop from normal (simple through master) chests, but the V16 has a much lower drop rate and are always blue. The only place to get purple jewelry is from the daily Wrothgar quests.

Its not like we have a lack of the required virgins on these forums.

What about the Elemental Succession set? I thought it's one of the drop set and should be from the same source as Pariah, Briarheart and Trinimac. But I've never seen them in game. Not from treasure chest/World boss dailies reward/undaunted chest/IC sewer mobs orchests. It's all Trinimac, and a few Briarheart and Pariah.

drops in msa (jsut liek the other 5, i donÄt think i can name them all even though i deconstruct tons of the daily ^^ - permafrost and winterborn come to mind just now - imho it's all rather useless except for succession and of that I am still not sure if it's sueless as well)
