Merchant in the Arena?

Can anyone tell me if there's a merchant in MA? I've looked all over and cannot find one, yet in DSA I know there is. Has anyone found the merchant or is there literally none?

    What? How can you miss him? The merchant is always standing next to the glowing loot chest after every round in Maelstrom Arena.

    The first time I did it I had no option to talk to anyone, so after that I never approached them when I did the chests. Now I'm wondering if I had a weird bug.

    Thank you though, I've since discovered its the tall guy.
