Testers Needed for New Web Community - LoreBooks

Hello eveyone,

Over the past few months I've been working on a new service for fan fiction writers and roleplayers.
It allows users to create realistic, interactive books just like in Skyrim,
which can then be embedded on third party websites like YouTube videos.

We therefore concluded that the best name for our new service would be, LoreBooks.
You can participate in testing by visiting https://www.lorebooks.com

After testing you'll be prompted to take a survey about your experience, and sign up for future Alpha testing.
I'd like to quickly mention a few key points about our first prototype test:
  • Currently, testing with Internet Explorer 11 or older does not work. We have discovered the source
    of the problem (it's related to our rendering engine) and know how to fix it. It will take priority as the first bugfix.
  • This test is not optimized for mobile phones, but it still functions on them.
  • The page layout is designed to allow testers to see how our book draws text from a source file
    to fill it with any text you want. The experience will be optimized for both readers and writers respectively.

Feel free to share it with your friends or guild members if you think they'd be interested.

    Surprised you managed to snag a domain like that lol doesn't seem like the kind that would not be taken, or perhaps you bought it out? Hmmm...

    We used our trademark to gain ownership of it.
    It took about 6 months, and was a major pain, but we got it.

    We also own Lorebooks.net, Lorebooks.org, Lorebook.com, Lorebook.net,
    a bunch of misspellings of the name,
    and the miniature url, L-O.RE

    I think we own something like 30 domains total.

    We made some updates to the book text to make it a bit clearer.

    At this time we plan to use advertisements with the books.
    We'll most likely also offer a service that lets users pay a monthly subscription to remove ads.

    In the future we'll offer writers more tools they can purchase to make their stories more interactive.
    That reader subscription might also allow them to get those interactive features.

    We're talking with a lot of people about it.

    We will eventually, but that's probably about a year away once we optimize the books themselves.
