Server maintenance in the day?

Normally in every mmo I played the maintenance is done over the night, when everybody is sleeping. But since today in the morning till now 11:00AM the servers are still Offline.

Will be always like this on Tuesdays? because last week I think was the same.

They actually went down in the small hours 3 in the morning gmt

8 hours maintenance... ok.. I mean, I will not freak out, but makes me angry because I did my plans to play today, I have a family and a work, etc xD and I think the last week happened the same. So if it would be rutinary this extended maintenance would be good if they could inform.

i have worked over 36 hours the past 3days i was hoping to play some today but guess not

Aye, it usually goes down at 3am and comes back up any where between 4:30 and 6:00, so most people with normal schedules (unlike myself) won't notice.
Today it went down at 3am as normal, but has yet to come back up
