New group finder experiences?

After waiting for 1 hour for a group for veteran pledge, I was ported into the dungeon which was unexpected considering I forgot I had even put myself into the queue. Needless to say it was one of the worst experiences in a dungeon I ever had.

VR4 sorc healer, only used a single resto skill and pretty much just sat there healing himself.
VR16 tank with a full molag kena set.
VR13 sorc DPS who only used Force Pulse.

And of course they all blamed me because I was the last to die.

My experiences are all good, but I do almost only silver pledges, so things aren't so tense. I don't have time and willingness to do vet with random ppl, but silver is ok.

Most 1/2 decent players do not bother with GF in this game. At launch and for long afterwords the GF seemed more like the product of a high school intern. The worst GF I've ever seen.

With that, random groups is always a dice roll with competency of group members. Especially so with tanks a healers who just choose that role for a faster pop and don't know what to do. It's really sad since this game has such simple mechanics leaving no excuses.
